[Rachel]

Glaring, the man grabbed the book with one hand, still pointing the gun at him. He read it before throwing it on the ground.
"Whatever," he said. "What do you want?"

Lily heard voices and immediately shrunk away again. After a moment, she took another breath, and continued forward. When she reached the door, she grabbed Vincent's sleeve and held it, avoiding the new man's eye.

[Sparrow]

Vincent peered over to Lily.
"Aw man, now she's in danger too." he thinks sadly.
He slowly bends down and picks up the notebook, stands up and then writes, “Nothing, I just wanted to know if anyone was in there.” This time he rips the note off and holds it out to the man. He looks out the corner of his eyes at Lily, though the glasses block the man from seeing them, Lily can. He tilts his head to the side trying to show her to go down the hall so they could run for it.

[Sparrow]

My Mom says that she doesn't want me up this late anymore. D: Do you think you could try and come a little earlier tomorow? Sorry to ask.... Please reply here. Sorry I got to go. Good Night. *waves* zzzz

[Rachel]

Lily hesitated. 'She... who... what?' she thought, staring at his eyes. 'What has she done?'
When Lily had managed to recover, she did as he wanted and shuffled down the hall.
The man took the piece of paper and lazily read it. "...why?" he asked, his eyebrows raised. Then, he noticed Lily. "Who is this?"

Things just became more complicated. The man had noticed Lily, and she noticed his eyes. His secret was probably blown out of the water now.
He quickly writes, “I heard a noise, and wanted to be sure it wasn’t a zombie or anything. She’s someone who was wandering that I helped out of a jam.” Then he holds out the paper to the man.
He decided if the man tried anything, he would distract him so Lily could get away.

The blonde man sighed and read the paper. "Why didn't you run? You don't exactly look like you could put up a fight," he asked bluntly. "Where's she going?" He pointed the gun at Lily who froze. She was almost shaking.

[Sparrow]

Vincent quickly side steps in front of the gun, blocking its path from Lily. He glares at the man, though the glasses hide his eyes, he still holds the look.
Quickly he writes down, “Why run when someone needs help?” he holds out the paper to the man.
Behind his back he waves his hand to show Lily to run. He just had to wait for the one moment the man would put his guard down. He is careful to keep himself between the gun and Lily.

[Rachel]

Lily waited for the man to take the paper before beginning to sprint down the hall. He looked up shouted, "Hey!", before shoving Vincent out of the way.
Lily kept running, still finding it difficult to form coherent thoughts. What kept her going was adrenalin. If she did not have it pulsing through her veins, she would curl up in a ball and wait for morning. Morning when she did not have anything to worry about. Nothing at all.

[Sparrow]

Vincent quickly tripped the man with a spinning ground kick. Then somersaults up just as quickly to face him.
“Wow, all the years of watching Kungfu movies came through.” he thinks surprised.
His glasses had fallen off when he was knocked over, but he was glad. He knew that it would make him a better distraction. He dashes abnormally fast to get between Lily and the man again. He glares threateningly at him, then mockingly holds his hand up in a “Bring it on” fashion and gives a smirk to annoy the man.
"Hope this will distract him long enough." he thinks.

[Rachel]

Vincent's kick tripped the man and he stumbled backwards, almost falling. He recovered quickly, pointing the shotgun straight at Vincent's head.
"You do that again, and I will shoot you," he said lowly. He paused, unsure of what to do. "That girl's going to get herself killed. Go and get her. We're better off sticking together."
He did his best to make it sound like he wanted to help them, which wasn't something he did often.

[Sparrow]

Vincent was relieved that the man didn’t blindly shoot.
“Man, he’s right.” he thinks, he knew he had to find her.
Slowly he backs away from the man, keeping a weary eye on him in case he tried something. Deciding to ditch the glasses at least for now he leaves them behind.
He didn’t trust this guy, but who would if they had a gun aimed at them.

Someone or something watches Lily from the air vent. Then when see passes, it quietly comes out to follow her.

When Vincent was gone, the man leant against the door frame, shaking his head.
"Man, what's wrong with you, Jonah?" he muttered and sat down in the door, pulling it shut to keep himself hidden. He generally wasn't one to help people.

Lily didn't notice whatever it was that was watching her. She kept running, now unsure of what she was running from, whether it was that man, or Vincent...

Vincent quietly but quickly wandered down the hall. He was using sent to track where Lily had gone, and felt strange about it.
“Well, I may be a freak, but at least I don’t eat people.” He thinks calmly. After a while he picks up another sent causing him to stop in his tracks.
“Oh no, not him...” he thinks panicked, looking around.

The unknown thing continues to follow only a few feet behind Lily. It laughs lightly then ducks into a room incase Lily turned around.

Lily heard a noise and slowed to a stop, glancing behind her nervously. She did not call out, as she would have done in the day, but backed away slowly. She could not see what had made the noise, but she did not want to find out what it was.

Vincent stands still in the hallway, listening for any sounds. He was trying to decide if he should continue to look for Lily, or go back to request the man's help. On one hand if he was right about who it was he'd need help to run him off. On the other hand if it was the guy, and he found Lily before they could come back to help, she would most likely be killed. The decision was difficult to make, he had to give it a minuet to think over, a minuet he knew he didn't really have.

The unknown thing hides behind a door frame. Not bothering to look around the corner because it already knew where Lily was.
“What’s wrong little lamb?” the male voice asks shrewdly.
Whoever it is stays out of site.
"Why are you alone?" he asks calmly in a whisper.
