The seven sinful gifts

"I lost my key," he sighed. "I have a spare but I'd rather not let others have my personal things. I might show you my room sometime. Maybe once my wounds heal," he said it so smoothly, she couldn't possibly understand the implications in his words. "Do you need any help? I could set the table if you want,"

[Raven]

Lust shrugged. "Sure," she replied. As she continued cooking, she couldn't help but wonder what he meant by that. She'd seen the room and he couldn't have anything good happening in there.

He pulled the plates from the cuboard and set the table in silence. Then he went back to the washroom and yanked th cloth and bandage off. The wound seemed to have stopped bleeding. After rinsing the cloth quickly and chucking it in the laundry basket, he washed his hands and came back for dinner.

When Lust joined him with the food, she spoke quietly in French, "Spaghetti et boulettes de viande, vous pourrez."

He chuckled sofly. "I don't speak French," he told her honestly, before catching himself again. He clenched his teeth and returned to what he was eating. Lsts were dangerous. He'd have to take her out soon, before she got too much of a hold on him......

[Raven]

Lust smiled. "In English that means 'spaghetti and meatballs, enjoy,'" she translated. "And I don't know why you're so uptight all the time. Stress is bad for your health, you know."

"I suppose thats true," he said, finishing his food. he got up and washed in the sink, putting it away. "I'm gonna turn in early. Make up for my stress with a good nights sleep," he cracked a smile.

[Raven]

"You just need to relax. I don't know how you can sleep when you're stressed, anyway," Lust said sourly.

[Gifted]

Kanon ignored her, heading into his room, shutting his door and sitting at his desk with his head in his hands. It took alot of self-control to fight off a Lust. He'd trained in the stimulator, but the real thing was harder than the stimulator could ever be.
Though it wasn't pointless. He gave all the credit to his training as to why he wasn't head-over-heels for her by now.

Lust glared at her plate, then, though she was only half done, threw away the rest and began washing the dishes. When she was done, she bit her lip, considering pushing her power onto Kanon. Usually, just being around someone was enough, but if she was feeling impatient or if someone was like Kanon, she could intensen her effect on them. However, it was both physically exhausting and painful. Eventually, she decided against it, for the time being.

It took Kanon three days to heal completley. He spent all three in his training room working vigerously, only coming out to eat and sleep.
The fourth day he stayed home the morning anyway, still working at it. He was glad the Power stimulator didn't tap into his real power, he'd not yet lost the super speed he'd taken from Pride. Working outside the Stimulator for once and zipping aroud dodging imaginary enemies, he accidently fell into the "pond".
"Shoot!" he cried,clinmbing out. well, so much for super speed.
He used the new Water power to dry himself off, saving himself from akward questions later, and sprinted to the door.
Then he stopped. he'd made it avross a huge room in a half secound. Nobody was that fast. But he'd gotten water when he fell in the "pond". Hesitantly, he ran across theroom again. Still the same. He shot water out of hand. He managed it.

How could he have two powers?

Then he thought of something. There were two categories of powers that he fit into. there was "natural," powers that were triggered by the world around you, and "stolen," powers that were triggered by other sins. Kanon thought he could only hold one power, but he'd only been holding natural powers up till now. What if he could hold one of each?
Hesitantly he took out his lighter, holding it to his hand. Then he rand over with super speed, and lit the candles.
He did have two powers.

With one power he'd been a force to be reckoned with. He'd taken out two guys and could've easily taken out a third.

Now, with two, he'd be unstoppable!!


He grinned an left the room. It was time to take out that Lust

Wrath opened hsi eyes and stared at the wall, most destroyed from the last few days, he still wished he could se Lust again but he knew he had to wait and it was constantly angering him. He stood up and stretched before standing in front of the wall. He lifted both arms up and started to slam them into the wall, his hands black abominations of nature, they didn't even resemble an animal part anymore. The cave was now about twice as big as it was a simple three days ago, his wounds no longer plauged him but he was still wrapped in the bandages he administered to himself. He growled and then went outside staring at the sky, after a few minutes of fresh air he went back in and flopped back on his bed.

Lust had spent most of her time pouting and storing her energy. When Kanon left his training room on the fourth day, she finally lost it. She couldn't stand being ignored for that long. If he did ignore her again, she'd press her power on him. "Hi, Kanon," she greeted. "What's up?" she asked.

[Gifted]

"Hey, Lorrie!" He greeted her cheerfully, not intending to ignore her. "Sorry if I've been ignoring you for the past few days, I get kinda obsessive when I have a project," he added, making a guilty face. "But I'm finally done!" He cried, as if he were barely containing his excitement. "Do you want to see?"

Lust shrugged, somewhat suspicious. "Sure," she answered. "I've been a bit distracted lately, anyway."
