surprised, Kanon reflexivley reached his right hand over his face to catch the pounch. if the fist made contact, Kanons flame would burn his skin.
And he'd assume Kanon had fire powers. Thats part of the reason Kanon had chosen this power, it was one few enemys could figure out.

But he hadn't plan even revealing the flames so soon. Well, no help for it now. He wasn't going to get his nose broken, at least

Wrath's punch was in full swing and just before it would contact his hand was covered in spikes, similar to a porcupines but they were slightly harder, straighter and the barbs at the end were made so it would be even harder to pull out later.

Kanon gasped and shot flames outward at Wraths hand, moving once they were shot and hoping they connected. His calm demeanour, so characteristic when he fought, vanished completley as he ducked to the side of a tree. "What the hell are you?" he breathed.

He winced as the flames engulfed his hand, luckily the quills protectedhis flesh to be too badly burned, he was a bit mroe angry now. He leapt toward the tree, landing in the side of it, muscular feline legs showed under the cloth of his pants and his hands were donned with three vicious claws, similar to a sloth's but they moved much quicker in the hands of a human, if that is what Wrath was.

Kanon ducked just after Wrath landed on the tree, shooting a much larger burst of flames at Wraths stomach before jumping backwards. doing abackflip, he cofidently caught a branch on a tree with his left hand, flipping on it like a gymnast so he was stnding in the tree. He shot more flames down to where the sin was before looking around for something to use. He bit his lip. Wood wasn't gonna cut it this time, he needed a plan, and maybe some of that spiky plant he'd had when facing the glutton. That was strong enough. Come to think of it, both plants could be useful.

QUickly his arms changed back to human and he put them together to block the flames, when the flames cleared Wrath was standing with a larg turtle shell in front of him being used as a shield. His arms reverted and he crouched, pants and boots ripping they revealed exremely large feet. He crouched and flew into the air, like a mutated rabbit. Gravity pulling him down his arms became larger and brown, he swung his mammalian hands down at Greed as he descended.

Greed dodgedf, but not quickly enough. Wraths claw made a shallow scrape accross his cheek. Other than that he escaped without damage, landing on the other side of the tree. He turned and ran, jumping over his fathers body to where he knew his best weapon lay. He caught a few trees on fire so Wrath wouldn't follow him.
Finind the long, prickly vinewes he was looking for, he dug through the dirst and pulled them up by the roots with his left hand, since breaking the plant would be welll nigh impossible. Biting his teeth and the pain of the prickles digging into his left palm, he ran back through the flames before moving the plant to his right and tossing it in the fire. He'd had to wait so he wouldn't get burned, but now he was ready.


He grabbed a tree that wasnt burning and climbed into it, all the while quietly wrapping the vines loosely around the mysterious sins feet. The vines were so loose he ould not feel or notice them, but as soon as the sin jumped to get at Kanon, they would stretch and tighten, digging into his leggs and making him fall just short, besides causing him pain.

Wrath stared at him, his mind bouncing ideas around rapidly not one of them seemed to stick for more than a minute, he wasn't a one trick pony though, he disliked repeating menuevers. He knew that his anger was clouding his judgement at least a bit right now but he couldn't risk letting the fuel which powered him to be lost right now. He crouched and looked at the tree Greed was in now, his feet changed to that of a monkey and he tried to leap into the closest tree.

Kanon laughed mercilessly as the sin jumped, the ribbons of the vines tightening and driving into the sins flesh. The tides of the battle were turning.
Pushing off the tree, he did a flip over Wrath, grabbing his lighter when he was directly above Wraths head, pushing it to his right hand and stuffing it back into his pocket before he landed. Turning around quickly, he balsted a flame at the back of Wraths head before darting into his own flame barrier. Racing back through the forest, he grabbed some of the pointy planthe'd used to finish glutttony off by it's smooth side with his left hand and wrenched it from the ground. dartingback through the flames, he swaped hands (he's still behind Wrath!) and chucked them in the fire. Then he waited for his enemys next attack, his usual smug smile back.


Meanwhhile, Pride looked up from inside the litle playground she'd alept in and saw smoke rising from the forest. Oh no! It must be the killer destroying the evidence! Jumping up, she used her super speed to race accross town and run towards the fight.

Wrath creamed in pain as the vines dug into his flesh and he tucked his head in, his back becoming that of an armadillos he felt the heat from Greeds next attack. He started breathing deeply and then howled, the thick armadillo skin on his back turned black and sprouted long sharp spikes. He turned his head and glared at Greed from over his shoulder, on of the spikes shot out at him, it remained attached to the tough skin by a special fiber that was not found in natural animals.

Greed dodged, finding that attack fairly easy. He recognised an armadillo shell underneath all those spikes. 'Perfect,' he thought. it was common knowledge that the underside of an armadilo was completley unprotected on it's underside. Staying behind Wrath, he grew a spike-like plant on a slant from the ground in front of them, shooting at Wrath chest at alarming speed.

Noticing almost too late the plant rusing at him from the corner of his eye Wrath moved away as best as he could, the spike digging into his shoulder. As he was struck the otehr 6 spikes launched congregating on greed from different directions the lone spike shot earlier was aslo pulled towards Greed from behind, by used of the strong fiber that connected it to his shell.

"Oh you have got to be KIDDING me!" He snapped. He made one enormous spike like plant and hid behind it, standing sideways so all 7 spikes would just barely missed. He let out a breath he was holding after he realised he'd escaped unscathed.

Dissapating the armadill shell he slashed away the plants constricting him with a blade made of porcupine quills. He turned to the spike that was newly sprouted and growled lowly, he walekd towards it, blood dripping on the ground. One of his hangs was large and seemed like it was a portable guiltine, a twisted version of a fiddler crabs larger claw and the other hand had a long needle that dug through the ground as he walked a slight hole in the tip, a modified mosquito mouth.

I don't get it. Most of my opponents are scared to death by now. Either because I'm defeating them or they don't understand my power. This is nothing like the battles I go through in the stimulations... Kanon thought. I only have one chance. it'sa risky, but if I can just touch him with my right hand I'll have him beaten in a few minutes

Kanon grbbed his barricade, swung alongside it and attempted to kick the advancing sin in the head, his hand out beside him so if the kick was dodged, Kanon might still get what he needed.
