The seven sinful gifts

He blinked and then touched his lip before she left, he wished she was stil there but he knew that he would have to fight the urge and that it would only get harder later. He waited a few minutes and then left, heading toward his cave, avoided the path that passed the house she was staying in in case she went there immidiately.

[Raven]

Lust did go straight to Kanon's house. She knocked on the door, but didn't wait for him to answer, she walked right in.

[Gifted]

"Hey Lorrie, where'd you go?" Kanon said from the washroom, where he'd just finished combing his hair. Putting down his comb he said "Hey I gotta go out today. Won't be home all day. You should take a ke if your planning to go anywhere," he went into the hall and slid on his jacket.

[Raven]

"I don't think I'll be going anywhere else today," Lust replied. "I was just talking to an old friend... We had an argument," she added to explain her tears.

[Gifted]

Kanon hadn't noticed until then that she was crying. "Oh my gosh, are you gonna be okay?" he said, surprised. He normally wasn't so... well emotional, I guess, but he felt kinda guilty that she was crying already and he was gonna go out and kill her friend.

[Raven]

"Yeah, I'm fine. He's just not happy to hear that I ran away, I guess," Lust replied. "I know he's just looking out for me, but it's still a bit frustrating."

[Gifted]

"Oh. Okay, well make sure he doesn't tell on you and you should be fine," Kanon said as he headed out the door.
Crap! That little wait had pretty much killed any chances of finding that other sin. Should he go back and kill Lust... he couldn't bring himsel to do that, since she was obviously upset in some wayand her emotional state would put her at a disadvantage. It was a cowardly thing to take advantage of.
Then he started to think about the Glutton he'd killed. His last words... they didn't simply sound like a man in pain. No, he could have simply screamed for that. it was like he was... calling out for help. Like he expected someone to rush in and rescue him. Then Kanon remembered when he first met Lorrie, way out in the woods. She'd said she'd "followed someone in here," and now she was chumming it up with another sin....
Kanon walked briskly to the forest, cutting right accross Prides crime scene. He was going back to the caves.

[Raven]

Lust sighed when he left, but wondered what he was doing. Was Kanon one of the sins?

[Dokeshi]

Wrath paced around his cave, he wished he could be with Lust but he knew that he couldn't right now, it was making him angry. He glanced down the path thinking he heard something but pushed it aside. He threw himself down on his bed and looking up toward the ceiling.

[Gifted]

Walking back to the body of his father, which was starting to smell, Kanon looked carefully into each cave. After only two or thee caves, he saw one with the sin Lorrie was talking to earlier in it, along with a rusted.. cage? It was ig enough for a lion to stay in!
And more than big enough for a human.
The full weight of this crushed down onn kanon and his eyes blazed with the injustice of it all. This sin had been keeping the Glutton as a pet! Forcing it to do the dirty work while he hid calmly in his cave! Well, That was about to change.. Pulling his lighter out, he pressed it to his hand in anger, and bit back a cry of pain.
Then he realised it. Why his power never worked.
He was right handed. He normally would pull his lighter ouut with his right hand and press it to his left. but his lighter was in his left back pocket. The only time his power had worked, he'd been in the middle of a battle, and in a hurry. He'd grabbed it without thinking, and had fumbled with it a bit because it was in his left hand.
His father had killed all feeling in his right hand. That was what he'd always thought. But that wasn't accurate, because he could still feel textures and warmth and coolness. He just never felt pain. This had happened three months after he'd decided what he wanted his power to be.
What if it hadn't been his father that had killed pain in his right hand?
What if it had been his power?

He took his lighter and moved it carefully into his left hand. He flicked it on. He held it too his right hand, feeling no pain. then he flicked it off, and shot at a nearby tree.
It burst into flames.
He'd figured it out!




He walked into the cave, new confidence in his stride. "So here he is. The cowardly sin who hides behind others and lets them do his bidding. And now you attempt to use the Lust as your next pawn. It's time to do battle. Lets see how you fair when there is no one to protect you. The last sin you will ever met will be Greed,"

[Dokeshi]

Wrath heard a voice and sat up brushing his pants off and stared straight at Greed and replied," Just what I needed, something to let some steam." He stood up and briskly walked toward his eyes caught some of the light as he descended upon his foe.

[Gifted]

Greed smiled and said to himsself. "and so now I get rid of either the Pride, the Wrath, the Envy, or the Sloth," his eyes looked puzzled for a moment, wondering which one this was, but not asking as he tensed for battle. he anted his eenemyy to make the first move this time

[Dokeshi]

Wrath continued walking up to him and stopped a fair distant stood between them, he stared into his eyes and smiled sadisticly, like his arrival was some grand joke. He spoke after a minute," So which one goes first?"

[Gifted]

"Why do you think I'm waiting?" he snapped. geez this guy was a smart mouth. Maybe he was a Pride. But the Prides normally were so full of themselves, they'd never alllow someone else to fight in their place. Envy was ruled out too, because they'd be jealous that person took out the enemy and not them. This guy was probably a sloth... though wrath was a possiblity too. He cataloged the powers he'd come up with as most likely for sloths and Wraths in his head

He smirked and then ran towards Greed his arm pulled back, he swung his arm into his face when he got close enough to reach, not bothering to reveal his power just yet. In his other hand he held a knife backwards t odeal a follow up blow.
