Yes, but they're angling towards the town, it will probably bring them to a point just off of where we want... They wouldn't be able too avoid us entirely, but they might have a chance at getting away from the ivy, plus we'd loose the element of surprise. Well, the surprise we have left after the tornado, Raven replied, smirking.

We aren't looking for surprise. The tornado was the surprise. We're looking for disorientation from the smoke they're certaintly inhaling right now, he thought, and grinned, angling the tornado just a tad so the group would come out where they wanted them.

[Raven]

Well, the painful ivy will certainly be a surprise, Raven said, smiling slightly.

"The tornado altered direction slightly," Cody told Sam. The redhead winced, not only from her brother's comment, but also as she began to cough. She could start a fire, but she couldn't survive one. She altered her path slightly, trying to escape all the smoke.
Cody used his shirt as a gas mask, but he was still inhaling a bit of the smoke. "Wasn't this your nightmare when you were little?" he asked Sam.
"Yeah... Ironic," she replied, coughing again.

Crow looked to Luke. "You're the best to get us out of this," he said. "Lead on." Luke nodded, coughing slightly and took a path that had the least chance of death by smoke, bending down to help.

Very true. They going in the right direction now? How close to here are they, and how long till the tornado hits the second group? Xander grinned.

[Raven]

They're not too far from here, and the second group is already coughing from the smoke... The third has spotted the tornado in the distance, Raven replied.

[Gifted]

Alright, then so far it's going per the data... they should be here in ten seconds.
"First wave, at the ready! They're coming now!" He yelled. "10! 9! 8!"

CR-S01 layed a hand on his rifle. His other hand was in his pocket, his fingers closing around the scope.
As per usual, he'd taken Agent Carlson at his word.

Wesly smiled, not that you would be able to tell and spoke to those around him," Shall we begin?" Before waiting for an answer he ran headfirst into the smoke, slipping something into the hallow tubes around his right hand.

[Raven]

Raven stood back so the first wave could get a clear shot.

Sam tumbled into the ivy. She was stiff for a moment, then her back arched. Her mouth opened in a silent scream. Cody watched, not moving to help his sister.

As the coughing agents begn to emerge from the trees, Xander yelled "3! 2! 1! NOW!"
Adrian made poison darts and a tube of bamboo appear out of nowhere and began to blow darts at the agents. Xander himself shot golf-ball-sized firebells. He'd condensed the flames to pack more of a punch.

Wesly smiled and began firing the metal bbs at the enemy, they were sharpened a bit though and with the velocity they were being fired they would most likely break through the skin and hurt while doing so.

[Raven]

Cody was hit in the chest by a fireball just before he ducked. As he did so, on of the BBs hit his cheek. Luckily it hit his bone, not causing a fatal blow. Cody swore as he crouched near the ground, the others around him followed suit with various injuries.

Luke coughed, but he didn't come forward. "The probability for surviving and coming out unscathed here is lower than you would think," he murmured. "We have to find somewhere else."

CR-S01 faked a couple shots after quickly attactching the scope, replicating the kick in the gun with his movement so it would look like he'd shot. He'd swivle around just before the second wave and take out as many inb the windows as possible before he was atacked. Then he'd get the heck out of there.

"Slow down! Less asses the damage!" Xander hollered. they needed to be visible for the second wave. "But keep up your guard!" The forest was blazing merrily, but the tornado was gone.

[Raven]

Luke led his unit around the area with the gifteds. For most of them, this was pointless and just made them inhale more smoke. "Look," he snapped after the third objection. "If you don't follow your leaders, then you'll be killed. It's the most basic rule in the government. I know what I'm doing." The speech sent Luke into a fit of coughing.

"Wait, hold up!" Xander said. "Somethings not right here... Adrian, move the damn weeds they aren't helping anymore," Adrian moved them, sensing the annoyance Xander always emitted when one of his plans went wrong.
As the ivy receeded Xander stepped into the smoking trees and, upon finding no one, swore loudly. "The commander's better than I thought. They must be going to the other side of town. If I'd put fire on both sides, the town would be covered in smoke, it wouldn't be safe for US to be here either. So I left the other side of town without burning it. He knows this. And whatever effect the smoke would have has mostly been lost. Right, we need to head at least to the center of town or second waves gonna be on fire before we even fight. I'll think about this on the way over. He was annoyed with himself. He should've asked Raven to check the reactons. He could've seen this coming. Sure he didn't have any mind readers in his own team, which was who he usually made plans for, but still! He didn't usually have the same power twice, he was supposed to be able to adapt on the fly!

CR-S01 liked this arrangement better. He drifted to the back, where nobody would be watching him. He was pretty sure there were silencers on all the guns, so he'd just fire bllet into the window as they passed second wave.

The problem isn't the commander. It's the second in command. His power is probability... As they were coming towards us, he checked the probability of coming out without injury. When it dropped, he knew something besides the fire was happening, Raven told Xander.

Luke had continued walking and was constantly checking to see if their way was blocked. This slowed their progress, resulting in them inhaling more smoke.
