The scientist reminded Ericken of the rapidly-read warnings at the end of an advertisement. He looked over to Vince, waiting for him to respond.
"Neither of us are experiencing any sorts of symptoms," Vince replied, shaking his head. Ericken fidgeted, causing Vince to raise an eyebrow.
"I probably just have a cold," Ericken said carefully, "but I have been coughing lately... and my skin's really itchy."

D-47 looks over to Ericken. “Where you were sprayed correct? If so where were you sprayed?” he asks calmly. Goggles tilts his head and looks to the opposite side of the room at seemingly nothing.

Vince looked at Ericken, expecting an answer.
"Y-yes," Ericken replied, more than a bit nervous. "I rose my arms in front of me to protect my face, you know, and it just sprayed my hands and a bit of my lower arms..." He rolled his sleeves up to reveal hands bleeding in some spots from the scratching. "Er. Didn't know I was doing it that hard..."

Goggles looks to Ericken but says nothing. D-47 frowns slightly, “Well that’s not good....” he turns a glance to Goggles. “Hey.” Goggles ignores him and looks around. “... Hey.” He continues ignoring him. D-47 snaps his fingers, “Hey!” Goggles immediately looks to him. “Mess?” he replies. “We need to run some tests, is the test room online?” Goggles thinks for a moment and glances around before nodding “Mess et ez.” he replies. “Good.... First we should run a quick test.” he takes a handheld device from his pocket, after a button is pressed a test strip pops out of it. “This won’t hurt a bit, I just need a blood sample... And seeing as you have already drawn some it won’t be an issue.” He touches the test strip to a scratch, it beeps once the sample is taken. He looks at the meter in wait for its result. After a moment he says, This will take a few minutes to calculate, and it’s rather inaccurate... It only gives a ruff idea of your chances, and seeing as it is raining it will probably read falsely. Please follow me, we’ll run proper tests to see if theirs anything to worry about. If there is don’t worry, its not a big deal.” D-47 walks to a wall to their left, Goggles follows.
(I don’t know his chances. Its measures pollen spores in the blood. L (0-50) M (100-200) H (500-700) E (900 - +) )

Ericken held out his shaking hands to allow the scientist to take a sample.
"You're afraid of a little needle?" Vince asked, his mouth a thin line. Ericken declined to comment, and rubbed his hands. The two followed through the wall, Ericken hesitating before walking right through it.

“I understand that the ghost walls must be strange to you, heck their still strange to me.” D-47 says calmly. He leads the group down several nearly identical halls, their only difference being a colored strip that runs along them, though a majority of them are blue. The hall ways are white, looking down several hall they don’t take show that they have windows looking into blank white rooms. On the left is a black door, D-47 and Goggles go as far as to walk the furthest to the right as possible. The halls are about six feet wide and 9 feet tall. After a minute they come to a glass door with pale blue trim. The meter beeps, showing its result. “Okay... Lets see what the damage is-“ he stops his sentence short when he sees E as the result. Goggles sneaks a peek at the reading, “Dang boy, how ez you not whack yet?” D-47 glares at the spy. “It’s most likely a false reading...” “Yeahz, but how far off could et be?” he shuts up when he sees the glare, and backs off. D-47 passes a card over the scanner then uses the retina scan the pops up. The door slides open. “Please come along. Don’t freak out about the pods, they’re just for emergencies.” He walks in, Goggles stays outside for now.
-This lab has blue trim running along everything, the rest of the room is platinum white. There are several machines that are sliver and have monitors, there are also separate monitors, and racks of different colored vials. There are also desks, cabinets and what appear to be pods. Pods: Metal trim around glass, egg shaped, full of what seems to be white mist.-

Ericken scratched the back of his neck, and made a pathetic noise. Their reaction didn't seem to bode well at all. He looked to Vince for some kind of comfort, and only found a worried look. The color seemed to drain out of Ericken's face when he saw the lab.
"Eurgh," muttered Ericken, "S-so, what's going on...?"

D-47 looks around the lab deciding what tests to use. “Don’t worry, we’re not going to do anything like those old Saw movies.” he says calmly. He flips through a few papers on a clipboard that hangs on the side of a desk. “All we’re going to do is take a breath test, and a small blood test. It’s nothing to worry about.” After a moment he adds, “Well you do have to be decontaminated before the breath test, but all you need to do is stand in a room that passes decontaminate over head... Actually, now that I think about it we’ll all have to do that. Also don’t worry you get to keep all your cloths on.” He looks back to the door, “Hey, what are you doing?” Goggles peeps in, “Nothin.” “Well get in here so the door shuts.” Goggles nods and walks in, immediately the door slides shut behind him. D-47 points to a machine that looks like a high-tech hand washer. “Hey, go check the blood test machine and get it running please.” “Okey-dokey.” Goggles nods and runs over to it and begins pressing buttons. D-47 shakes his head slightly then looks to the two. “For your best interests I want both of you to be tested, as long as you have no issue with that. Now which test do you want to run first? The breath test or the blood test?” he asks calmly.

Ericken would have made a smart comment about keeping his clothes on, but he kept it to himself.
"The one that doesn't involve needles," he quickly said. Vince gave him a sideways glance, then looked at D-47.
"The breath test, then," Vince added, "and I don't have any issue with also being tested."

D-47 nods, “Very well then. Please follow me.” He leads them to a small glass room , inside is a door leading to a much larger room, this door is sealed shut. There are four lit blue light bulbs, one in each lower corner. D-47 scans a card and a glass door slides open, four red light bulbs, one in each upper corner, light up as the blue one shut off. “Please step inside.” he says calmly, he grabs a respirator type mask that seems somewhat different from Ericken’s and Vince’s. “Just keep your current masks on, they’ll work fine in here.” he says after putting the mask on.

The pair followed, though Ericken was much more nervous than normal.
"I never knew you were afraid of labs," Vince muttered in Forlian.
"Doctors, scientists, labs, hospitals," Ericken mumbled back, "all equally creepy." He stopped, and looked at D-47. He stuttered a few times before saying in English, "E-exactly what are we in here for...?"

D-47 looks blankly to Ericken, noting his apparent nervousness but not saying anything in regard to it. “This is a decontamination room. Before you can take the breath test all pollen spores must be removed to avoid test contamination and infection.” The door seals shut. “Don’t worry, all it is is treated water, it’s harmless.” A robotic voice speaks up “Decontamination beginning.” Fire extinguishers drop down from the ceiling and heavily spray lukewarm pale green water for several minutes. After the water shuts off D-47 grips his coat shut as if preparing for strong wind. The robotic voice speaks up again, “Drying stage beginning.” Strong fans switch on and continue running until everything is dry. “Decontamination complete, have a nice day.” The door inside the room leading to a testing lab opens. D-47 walks in and waves for them to follow. The room is completely white, the florescent lighting above causes the surroundings to be brighter then needed. There is a black light that runs the width of the room resting on a track on the ceiling at the opposite side of the room. The only things inside the room are a large super computer with several monitors and what seems to be a standing breathalyzer. The monitors click on and a purple light shines inside the breathalyzer then shuts off. “You can take off your respirators now, this room is sterile.” D-47 says calmly, however he doesn’t remove his respirator.

Vince imagined going through the decontamination process was similar to being put in an active dishwasher. Once it was over, he looked over his rosary, making sure it was still in good condition. The two followed D-47, Ericken trying to smoothe his hair back into place. Vince gladly took off his respirator, as did Ericken.
"So I'm assuming we just have to breathe into it?" Vince asked. He instinctively reached into his pocket for a cigarette, only to remember he hadn't brought them with. Instead, he folded his arms, and looked at still-nervous Ericken.

D-47 nods, “Yes, all you need to do is exhale once into that tube.” He points to it. “Then wait until the machine resets. It has to decontaminate between tests.” He turns to the monitor to check current stats.

Vince looked at the breathalyzer, and nodded. He prodded Ericken, and after a bit of bickering in Forlian, Ericken carefully exhaled into the tube.
