[Gifted]

Hailey ran, with Rachael close behind, right up to Zach. She looked up into his eyes, and then the yellow light faded. She blinked, looking shocked, amd looked around. "Rachael!" she called just as Rachael rounded the corner. "Why the heck are you still following us?!"

[Raven]

Zach shrugged. "I wanted to make sure you're okay. I'm sorry. You really don't have to worry about me contacting the cops, though. They aren't too happy with me, either," he told her.

[Sparrow]

Hatter sighed as he spies a town ahead.
"I guess we have no choice" he though aloud.
Turning to K-9 he says,
"K-9 maybe you should go take care of Onyx." he says as calmly as possible.
Looking back to the town Hatter folds his ears back.
"I'll go look around town."
Without waiting for a reply he dashes into the town.
He keeps to the shadows and runs under booths to not be noticed.
Anywhere this humanly populated was a dangerous place to be.
Seeing a girl run by (Hailey) he ducks behind another girl (Rachael) and into a house. Looking around he dives under the first covered table he sees.

"What'd you do to befoul the town cops, kid?" He looked fairly well off, not like he'd need to break the law. Rachael was quite honestly curious.

[Raven]

"I have a family, too. There are five girls and two boys I'm looking after. Not all of them technically related to me. The majority of them are under seventeen. In fact, just two of the girls are over that age. The youngest is only four," Zach replied. "If you can't tell me why that might cause some problems, then you must not have heard me."

K-9's ears laid back, but she did what Hatter said. She went back to find Onyx.

[Sparrow]

Hatter peeked out from under the table. Twitching his whiskers he slowly steps out.
"I hope K-9 is okay." he thinks to himself, looking out a window at the black sky.
The reason he didn't want K-9 to come was that she'd sell for a high price on the black market if she got caught.
Looking around he sees a pile of food on a low table, he runs under the table.
He reads a pack that a girl is holding,
"Ketchup flavored chips? Gross..." he mutters lowly.

Yeah," Rachael sighed. "Wow, I was having problems with one adult and two other kids," She sighed. "Well, I suppose since I can't seem to shake you, you should come inside. If wwe're caught out here we're both dead meat,"


She saw K-9 coming and panicked. No! She wanted more time! Time to attack them ad get rid of the threat early, and THEN if that failed to move onto the next step! Well, it didn't matter now. Forming quickly into her origanal form, she wraped her dark bands all around the tree they'd hid in. Some of them blew up, but most of them burned or slashed right through whatever they'd wrapped around. The she turned into Onyx and crept under a bush a few feet from the tree. She started to make small, frightened sounds.

[Raven]

K-9's ears laid back further and her tail went between her legs. "That you, Onyx?" she asked upon hearing the noises.

Zach nodded. "Okay... So long as you promise not to burn me," he said.

[Gifted]

Rachael smirked. "Deal. Come on, lets get out of the open."
Kim didn't notice Hatter, once she regained her grip on herself she immeaditley grabbed a pencil and a pad of white paper and began to sketch, muttering to herself. "Blinding light... intense pain... dark draagon... an enemy. magnifying glass, search and find, but it was small, so what we'll be finding won't be easy. The purple on black indicates an ally... but what do the sparkles mean? and then all the other stuff looked out of place... it didn't make any sense,"

"k-k-k-k-K-9?"Onyx stuttered.

[Raven]

"It's me," K-9 affirmed. "What happened?" She was shaking, her wings pressed close to her sides, but still tensed to open at just a hint.

Zach followed her inside. "Just wondering, but why are you taking care of them? What happened to your parents? I mean, I don't care if you don't tell me, I know that there are things you don't share with people, let alone people you don't know..." He decided to shut up right then.

"Dad died of cancer and mom blew all our money trying to save him. He died anyway," She didn't say a word about what had happened to her mother as they walked through the door. "Kim! we're here! And we brought the kid!"
"Why?" Kim asked, distracted with her drawing.
"I couldn't shake himm and he's not a threat, so I figured it wouldn`t hurt to have company."

"Th-this woman.. she appeared out of nowhere. All d-dressed in white... she destroyed everything..." Onyx started to cry. "It all happened s-so fast. I j-just barely managed t-to h-h-hide under here before she destroyed the place,"

[Raven]

K-9 sat down and rested her head on Onyx's knees. "Now what are we going to do?" she asked. It was becoming obvious that K-9 wasn't very old.

Zach wasn't sure what to say. He guessed that everyone would probably find certain things worse, but there wasn't much that could get worse than that. Well, unless Haven had been the mother, then it could get quite a bit worse. But as it was, not likely.

[Sparrow]

"Dark dragon?" Hatter asks himself confused,
His ears lay back as he watches two more people enter the room.
He pulls close to the center of the table, hoping to not be seen. Just then he notices something, something shiny and red near the previous table he hid under. He reached his paw to check around his neck.
"M-my amulet, oh bother." he says lowly in a huff.
He'd have to get it back, but when?

Onyx had no awnser.

"So, wha'd you see? you got it drawn out yet?"
"I've got the basic sketch, but colours are more important than actual shapes," Kim replied, sighing and putting her pencil down. "I'm going to go look for pencil crayons," She left the room. Rachael examined the picture for a second, shrugged and put it down. She sat down on the couch. "Whats your name anyways?" she asked Zach.

[Sparrow]

Hatter waited until no one was looking in his direction. Carefully he reached up and grabbed the picture.
"Nice art, I wonder if she's an artist?" he thinks while examining it.
He puts the picture back but fails to notice he left a paw print on it.
"How am I going to get the amulet?" he thinks, trying to form a plan.
For then he decided to stay under the table.

(Maybe someone can find the amulet. :3)
