Nadia frowned.

Katrina and Aura both shrugged. "I can't remember," Katrina said. Aura nodded in agreement.

This confirmed what Rachael had already suspected, and she began to relax by tiny amounts. "And you don't remember what happened to Haven?"

[Sparrow]

“I think Cyric may have been controlling you or something.” he says in a saddened tone.

[Raven]

Aura and Katrina both frowned. "No, we don't."

[Gifted]

"Huh. Listen, I'm worried about Nadia. I went into the house and found her. I tried to get her to come and was about to call you guys back, but.... she insisted I didn't She told me to telll you guys she wasn't there. She seemed really angry at being found, and she didn't sound at all like herself."

[Raven]

Katrina's frown deepened. "What do you mean?" she asked.

[Gifted]

Rachael wondered why Haven hadn't come out yet, Aura and Katrina seemed pretty normal to Rachael.
"I mean, she blew you three off like you meant nothing to her, and if Kim had told me yesterday that this was gonna happen today I would've gotten angry with her for being rude and insulting. She wasn't acting like herself at all."

[Raven]

Katrina nodded slowly. "That actually makes sense... Cyric was always Nadia's favorite. He protected her, he was like her father, because our dad was always too busy. He was everything to her, and then he left. Now she has him back, and she probably doesn't want to loose him again... She's emotionally younger than she is," she said.

[Gifted]

Rachael shook her head. "That could explain part of it, but it's not the only thing that threw me off. Katrina got a bit exsasperated last night and shouted once, and not even at her, and Nadia stated crying. I remember I was thinking even Hailey wasn't that sensitive. And then just a few minutes ago, when I was talking to Nadia, the way she was treating you all like garbage pissed me off, and I... need to learn to control my temper. I did everything short of screaming in her face, and she didn't even flinch. It was weird." Not to mention the fact you guys wern't exactly acting normal either, Rachael added in her head.

"Nadia is more sensitive about the family. And Katrina never shouts. That's part of the reason Nadia was shocked to tears," Haven said.
"It's still odd," Katrina said, frowning.

[Gifted]

"Honestly at first I thought she was just being a jerk, but after talking to Haven..." Rachael trailed off, unsure if Haven wanted them to know what happened.

[Raven]

"You two were chasing me," Haven explained briefly. Katrina looked bewildered.

Nadia frowned. "He wouldn't do that..."

[Gifted]

Rachael nodded. "Thats why I was asking you if you remembered catching the illusion Cyric created before. I think he did something to you... and did the same to Nadia,"

[Raven]

Both the girls frowned. "I think she's right," Haven admitted. "But we don't know if Nadia is still under his control, or if she was let go, too."

[Gifted]

"well, I know she's still at the same house. Why don't we go back for her and see what happens? I think you'd know your own sister, maybe you'll be ableto tell the difference." Rachael suggested.
