The Orb detects the sharp increase in pressure and shuts the text off. It makes a small static sound as if surprised. After a moment it self locks the Gyroid and falls to the ground, hoping whatever attack this was would end if it ‘played dead’.

Amarinn watched the orb fall to the ground, and smirked. He had hit it in the right place, it seemed like. As if saying "take that!" he juggled the sphere with his feet, finally kicking it to the side. At least his muscle memory was still intact.
Now, to remember how to drive a boat. Before Amarinn headed off to the dock, he glanced down at the orb, and picked it up. An interesting piece of technology, definitely. Carefully, he turned it over in his hands.

If the Orb were in fact living and in an anime it would have sweatdropped when picked up. It remains motionless and keeps its lens shut, running then rerunning calculations on what it should do.

Amarinn put the orb in his messenger bag for further investigation. For now, he made his way onto an abandoned boat. The paint was chipped, and it smelled like dead fish, but it would make due for now. It looked like it had once been used for tours, as a banner on the side had both Forlian and English letters. Amarinn quickly untied it from the dock, and set off to remember how to man a boat.

The other Orbs watch as their Conrad is seemingly Orbnapped. After calculations they find not interfering to be the best option.
The Orb, now in a bag, continues to remain motionless. Who knows what this could lead to? There was only one way to find out.
