Alexa watched from a little ways away as this happened. Any color her face had retained drained when Crow killed the two men. By that point, her breathing had become shallow. "You had no reason except your own feelings to doubt that those men were telling the truth," she said.

"Do you hate me for what I did to those pawns?"

Alexa shook her head. "Not hate you," she said. "But that doesn't make it right."

"That may be so, but life isn't fair and we all die in the end, I'm just helping others realize that, I take full responsibility for my actions."

"Part of being responsible is making responsible decisions. You can't let your feelings get the better of you and still claim you're being responsible. I've never seen you loose it like that... What if that were me would you care at all?" Alexa asked.

Diz got a call from emergency services.
"Your highness? We received a message from a solder phone in Forli.....you're going to want to hear this." The message the solider had shouted earlier played back, but, so did everything Crow said after that.
"Yes......thank you. I'll take care of it." She quickly shouted orders to people in the palace to prepare themselves, she also called her commanders and told them to prepare in case the whole country was attacked.
Diz quickly went upstairs and put her hair in a bun, changed into some black leggings, a tight fitting white tank top, and a pair of combat boots. She also added a long necklace made of pearls, carved wooden flower beads, and small silver beads. Satisfied that the necklace made her appear less hostile, she then equipped herself with a shotgun and a katana she kept under the bed. Sebastian came in moments latter, still wearing his tux, but without the jacket.
"I'm ready your highness." He gave her a rather out of character smug smile.
Satisfied with security, she sat on the bed and waited.

"But a few people who may not have any idea what's going on are fine to slaughter," Alexa said.
