Nuclear wasteland. The shores have habitable levels of radiation, but the further inland you go, the more and more dangerous it is, to the point most of Forli is inhabitable. Any surviving Forlians live in Talesworth.

Previously:

The fifth leader was one by the name of Fox, who, as per usual, was too scatterbrained to file a report on her country.

The middle of her realm stretched along the equator of the Western Hemisphere, resembling present-day Brazil moved north a few degrees. The most notable feature is its luscious rain forests, surrounding the middle of the continent, where most of the population is found. The common weather is rain with a chance of more rain, and summer is the only time of year when the sun comes out (and it stays out for a good month).

For the most part, it has two cultures; the primary city-dwellers, and the tribal jungle-dwellers. Those that live in the jungle are every bit as clever as their 'civilized' cousins, and still wouldn't be able to live without modern conveniences like plumbing and dental hygiene. They simply like the green scenery. The citizens of both areas pride themselves on being creative and innovative.

The country has managed to remain peaceful. They keep a sizable navy and air force, consisting mostly of untrained youth who yearn for adventure. (Their yearning is never satisfied) "Laissez-faire" is the country's motto, which, loosely translated from French, means "leave it alone." Fox believes that, if you give the people popular sovereignty, and only intervene when they're being stupid, everything works out in the end. Most of the time. Therefore, Fox's government is set up with delegates representing all walks of life talking/arguing it out, and if they can't see past their noses, Fox steps in to knock some sense into them.

"The people are smart enough to figure it out..." Fox has been recorded saying, "Most of the time."

Heather awoke, saw the note, and sighed. She was hoping Sebastian could tell her where to find a home. She payed at the motel, and walked out to the street, looking for any sort of real-estate office.

As usual, it was raining in Essence. Kids were jumping in the deep puddles, much to their parents' dismay. Everybody was equipped with an umbrella, and many also wore a rain coat. The deep gutters were close to overflowing with rain water.

The motel Samuel had picked was on a main street. Shops lined the sidewalks, rain dripping down the storefront windows. As luck would have it, a store named Essence Estate was nearby. A handwritten sign on the window said: "Looking for a resdence rezidence home? We can help!"

Crow remembered some things from the meeting and decided to give Fox a call, he called her and waited patiently for someone to pick up.

Mimi twiddled her thumbs. There was really nothing to do; Fox was in the meeting room with her delegates, listening to them argue about the development of the airport. The phone ringing was the second exciting thing that had happened all day. (The first was Fox forgetting to grab an umbrella and returning from outside soaking wet.)

"Hello, Secretary Michelle of Forli speaking," she said, holding the phone to her ear with her shoulder.

"Hello there Mimi, is Fox around? It's Crow if you couldn't tell."

[FoxTrott]

Mimi frowned the moment Crow spoke. "What do you want?" she grumbled, "Madame Fox is busy at the moment--"

"No I'm not!" Fox had emerged from the meeting room, and was leaning against the double doors. "Goodness sakes, I can't believe they shut up long enough for me to slip out. I said I needed a bathroom break--and they believed me!"

Mimi rolled her eyes, and handed the phone to Fox. Her grimace said everything. "Um, hello?" Fox managed into the phone. Her fingers trembled.

It's not some death threat! Mimi mouthed, It's Crow!

"Oh! Oh, hi, Crow! Um, what's up?"

[Dokeshi]

Crow chuckled slightly," Your secretary doesn't seem to like me...I was just wondering if I might be allowed to visit...like maybe right now?"

[FoxTrott]

"Mimi doesn't like anyone," Fox replied, sticking her tongue out at her secretary, who contemplated responding with a finger. "But, um, sure, you could visit... Things have been kind of slow, and I'd love to get away from it all. Um. What made you decide to come visit? Oh, the meeting... U-um, when should you arrive?"

[Dokeshi]

"I'm not telling, expect me soonish." Crow said smiling and hung up, he was already on the transport.

[FoxTrott]

By the time Fox had formulated something to respond with, Mimi had hung up the phone for her.

"I still don't like him," Mimi stated, "I'm sending a guard with you."

"He's Crow," Fox said, turning around scarlet-faced.

"All the more reason to send a guard," said Mimi matter-of-factly. Fox sighed, exasperated, and glanced towards the meeting room. It sounded somewhat calm. Mimi continued, rifling through her phone-slash-address book. "I'll call one up, and he'll--or she'll--be here soon. Wait here, and I can take care of the meeting. Okay?"

Fox was nowhere to be found. An umbrella was missing from the vase they were kept in. Mimi groaned, and walked inside the meeting room to supervise for the remainder of the meeting.

Crow soon arrived at a dock and checked his pocket watch, smiling he slipped it back into his pcket, wondering where his host was.

[FoxTrott]

Luckily, Fox had predicted the correct port. If she hadn't... Well, that would've been a long walk.

"H-hi, Crow," she greeted, smiling. Her umbrella had managed to keep her somewhat dry; it was raining, as usual.

[Dokeshi]

Crow smiled and walked over to her, the rain mostly just slid off of his jacket but his hair was completely soaked. He walked over to her, staying just outside the umbrella. " So how have you been Fox?"

[FoxTrott]

Fox shuffled closer to Crow, and held her umbrella so that they were both covered. "B-bored, kind of," she said, wondering if he hadn't moved under the umbrella on purpose, "Nothing much goes on here, y'know? It just rains. Just a few months and it'll be nice and warm. Um, how've you been, Crow?"
