Kenny brushed disgustedly at the back of his neck. It's a good thing I decided to put my bug behind my ear, he thought as he continued rubbing his neck. He made sure the bug met it's mark in a nearby fountain, then turned and walked along the wall towards the building. He was quick and silent as he injected both guards with a mixture that would put them to sleep for about an hour. He then beconed the others to follow him inside. Their black clothes helped them more than once when people passed them. They had a limited number of injections and were in no mood to try putting the whole building into a deep slumber. They had exactly two extra, which meant there was a total of five left. They met the first big challenge as they climbed the stairs to the second floor. There they used one of the injections on a young girl who seemed to know what she was doing. Kenny was thankful, not for the first time that the liquid in the shots would obliterate her memory of them. The only drawback was that it would make his objective foggy in his memory when he received his own injection. It was surprisingly easy to get to the room they identified as Adam's and put the guard into a deep slumber. They swaped Kenny's and Adam's clothing so no suspition would arise. The men who would be leaving took two of the injections, while Kenny kept one. They watched as Kenny slid the needle into his arm. The pain from the liquid, which burned intensly, faded as he lost consciousness. They made sure to lay him in the same position they'd found Adam in, then used one of the injections on Adam. With that they left, carrying Adam out of the room. They found one of the passages from the building to the underground and took it, leaving the castle with no trace they had been there except the sleeping guards. When they woke up, the pain from the liquid in the injection would overtake all of them. Kenny knew that, but he hadn't even hesitated to inject himself. The operation had been a success. Kenny was in.

The two guards looked at each other confused, they heard what sounded like a fountain instead of the person who they planted the bug on.

Dominic, who wasn't nearly as smart as Rakel and was living on the streets still, heard the people go past his 'home' and ducked behind a building, crouching down to watch. He saw a group entering and carefully followed them inside, keeping out of sight. He couldn't follow them all the way in, it was too risky, but he watched them exit a room carrying an unconcious person. It looked like Adam, Mistress Ravens fiance! But then, hadn't someone looking like adam gone in in the first place? He ran off as they went underground, still crouching to avoid being seen. it was time to use one of the LoDiCS more advanced tools. He pushed a white button on the system "RC Video selected. Please confirm the type of RC video you wish to use," "Clay," he said. Clay was the easiest and most immpercise type. "You have selected: Clay. Please begin RC Clay video creation," ((I'm not going to go through the stuff he does with the LoDiCS in great detail here, if anyone, especially Crow since he's supposed to own one now, needs to know exactly how it works, PM me and I'll explain)) After some well chosen words, some skilled handling of the device and about ten minutes, Dominic had an impercise recreation of the events he'd witnessed. After doing a quick messege voiceover, he sent it out to both Rakel and me.
Miles away, in her little house, Rakel heard a single beep and pulled out her LoDiCS. "I witnessed this not five minutes ago," Dominics voice said as the video played. "Does it make any sense to you?" Rakel raised her eyebrows, and wondered what I would make of it.

Kenny woke up and sat up quickly, biting his tongue to keep from shouting out in pain. He moved his right arm so it crossed his chest and his hand clasped over the place he'd injected himself. He sat like that for a while, then attempted to stand. He almost collapsed and had to catch himself on the edge of the bed, gasping from the gradually intensifying pain. A few minutes later, Kenny got up again, this time succeeding to stay upright. The pain had faded to the point where it was bearable. He was still somewhat out of it as he stumbled towards the door and from there, past the guard, who was still asleep. From there he managed to stay aware of things long enough to find Missy Raven's room. She glanced up at him when the door opened and grinned. "I'm glad you're okay, Adam," she said. Kenny walked over to her bedside and smiled down at her. "So am I," he said. Raven moved slightly, so there was more room (though still admittedly not much) beside her on the bed. She patted the covers, inviting him to sit. Kenny smiled almost shyly as he sat cautiously next to her. He was, of course, acting to appear more like his brother. Raven smiled, then leaned forward and kissed him. "We're not being watched, you don't have to act," Kenny said, but he was smiling. "I'm not," Raven murmured, kissing his jaw. "I'm just sad it took me almost loosing you to realize how much I really love you." She was breathing heavily as she said that. Kenny grinned. "That's okay," he whispered, wrapping his right arm around her waist and pulling her onto his lap. Raven looked shyly downward. Kenny placed his finger beneath her chin so he could lift her face to his, kissing her again. And so it was that when Lynn walked in to wake Raven, she found Kenny (who she, of course, thought was Adam) sitting on the bed with both his arms wrapped around Raven's middle, holding her close to him and Raven straddling Kenny with her fingers tangled in his naturally messy black hair and them kissing each other. Just before dawn. Both of them glanced up when they realized Lynn had come in. "I'm sorry to interrupt, Madame, Sir, but I had to remind Miss Raven of her appointment tomorrow," Lynn said, trying to hide her own smile. Kenny and Raven both turned red. Raven stood, straightened her nightgown, and then spoke Lynn. "So what appointment is this?" she asked. "The leaders meeting, remember? Who are you going to bring?" Lynn asked. Raven smacked her forehead. "I forgot!" She glanced at Kenny. "I don't know if it's better for Adam to be here or at the meeting..." Kenny smiled. "You should bring Lynn, I'll be fine here," he told them. Raven nodded. "I would like you to come to the island, though you can't stay long," she told him. Silently, she added, Just today, then we can get on with the meeting.

I wonder if Adam's up yet, Kenny thought as he kissed Raven. It was late and they had been home for a few hours. If Raven noticed that Kenny/Adam seemed distracted, she didn't say anything. They had just gotten out of a meeting with Ravonia high ranking officers and were finally able to... 'relax.' ((XXDDD)) Raven looked down at him sleepily. "I'm getting tired," she told him. He kissed her nose. "Then go to sleep, silly." "Promise not to die of boredom?" "I promise I won't die of boredom until after we are actually married," Kenny teased. "Good enough for me," Raven told him, snuggling up against him. "I love you."

The leader awoke before sunrise, gently shaking her fiance's twin brother awake. Kenny blinked at her. "What is it?" he asked. "I have to organize the mailings for the festival," Raven answered. Kenny frowned. "Oh, yeah. The Summer Solstice Arts Festival is coming up," he recalled. Raven nodded happily. "Yup. The only bad thing is that I need to put everything together. We already have the mailings mostly organized, but I need to finish the design. Once that's done, we can start making copies and sending them out." She sighed. "It's a long and unpleasant process, but it's worth it. We have two months until the festival and the solstice, all of it will be spent organizing who will be occupying which booth, which guards will be stationed where, and what I'll be wearing." She grinned. "The festivals are really the biggest celebrations in the country, and the summer solstice is the biggest of them all. It's the only time I go out for any period of time without at least one guard." It was obvious that Kenny vaguely knew this, but he didn't really know the details. "Why don't you have a guard with you? What if someone attacks you?" he asked. "I don't like having guards with me specifically, because people get nervous around them. Also, I like to be able to look at the art without worrying that the guards will come and inspect everything before they deem it safe enough for my presence. There are guards around, someone would have to act very quickly. Besides, you'll be with me." Raven smiled at him as she poked her head through the neck hole of the shirt she was pulling on.
Hours later, Raven was writing indecipherable scribbles on a complex graph. "What is that, anyway?" Kenny asked. Raven glanced up before going back to scribbling. "It's the chart of the park where the festival will take place. Each small box is a booth where people can set up their own art. Every form of art is handmade. We have everything from painting to metal working as well as music and theatre. This," she gestured to one of the three biggest squares that all had empty space around them, "is a stage for the live performances." Kenny nodded approvingly. "It seems like there's more space than there has been other years," he commented. "There is," Raven said, almost smugly. "Anyway, the mailings are ready to send. The residents on the nearest islands should get them today or tomorrow, the farther islands will receive them within four days." ((Gifted, Rakel will get hers either that day or in the morning. She's on one of the nearest islands.)) She pulled out a letter and gave it to Kenny for him to examine. It had the date of the festival, details for entries, and there was an application form attached. "Very nice," Kenny said.

I sighed. I'd been up ffor about an hour, and now it was time to make the phone call. Me and Sharon had gone over it and agreed we had to tell Raven about Dominic. I picked up the phone and called her.

"Hey Raven, it's Gifted. I have something I need to talk to you about. I also sent a diplomat to your country, and he also found something that may be of interest to you, but to be honest, the diplomat broke protocol and was just generally stupid, so I couldn't show you the video at the meeting. It's not filmed, it's just a reconstructed event, so I won't blame you if you don't take my word for it. But I can send the diplomat to meet you and give you the video,"

"Okay. It can't hurt anything to be aware. After all, there's nothing saying I have to believe the video when I see it," Raven replied. "Just so you know, though, I would like to know of these things when they happen, if you would."

"I usually do, it's just like I said, my diplomat didn't follow protocol so it became more complicated. I'll send him over immeaditley. Chowder, Raven," I laughed, already walking over to my communications system to contact Dominic.

Raven frowned. What did chowder have to do with anything? "Well, bye." She hung up. "That was odd," she told Kenny.

((*facepalm* "chowder," is my moms way off saying goodbye sometimes. XD )) When i heard her hang up I dropped the phone and quickt up a connection with Dominic. I explained to him what was going on and within minuttes he had a disc to give to Mistress raven. I told him not to screw up and sent him to go meet her. LoDiCS in his back pocket and CD in his front, he made his way back to Mistress Ravens dwelling. ((I dunno if the gates are guarded or if he can just walk in so you take it from here))

"I'm here to see Mistress Raven," he awnsered. "I am a diplomat sent by the Princess Sarteena, Gifted."
