Fox, again, was silent for a few moments, this time lost in thought. "I'm sorry, Rave," she eventually said, "I really hope this relationship works out for you, though... No matter where I'm at, I'll always be available if you need someone to talk to... All righty?" The ex-leader glanced around to see if anyone was eavesdropping; if they were, they must have been very good hiders, because she couldn't see anyone.
Raven nodded, unable to speak for a moment. "Oh, Fox! I need to hug you! It's like I can't believe you're really still with us," she cried after a minute, throwing herself down on her bed.
Fox shifted the phone from one ear to the other. "I could come to Ravonia, you know," she suggested, "We could hang out for a bit, just like old times... Maybe go for ice cream? Coming back from the dead sure makes you hungry." She giggled at her attempt to lighten the situation.
Raven smiled. "That sounds nice. Besides, we have a lot to talk about," she said brightly. She pulled her pillow into her grasp, holding it tightly. There was so much that Fox didn't know that was happening in Ravonia. So much that no one besides herself, Lynn, and Adam knew. Or so she thought. Of course, Kenny and Conner also knew. Most of the others were dead or had lost their memories. Crow also knew some of it, but certainly not all.
"Do you think I could come over soon?" Fox asked, glancing around, "Like, within the next week or so? It'll take me a good few days to get to Ravonia, and I really need to rest..." Sleep deprivation was finally beginning to take its toll on Fox. She sighed, and rubbed her eyes. Theoretically, she could go with Crow back to Talesworth and rest there, then hitch a ride to Ravonia. Fox yawned, and nodded to herself.
"Of course!" Raven exclaimed. "The ports of Ravonia are always open to Miss Fox. And, Fox? If you ever need anything, I'll do my best to help. No matter what it is."
"And I'll do my best to help," Fox promised, smiling, "So, I promise I'll stay in contact with you, Rave, but don't disclose my location to anyone, all right? If anybody figures out where I am, well, I don't think it'll end very well... So, I'll talk to you later, Raven?"
"Fox, if anyone will have trouble hiding something, it won't be me," Raven assured her friend. "And, yeah. Talk to you later." She hung up, smiling slightly. Fox was okay. Still Fox, but okay. It was so typical of her to risk her life to protect others. It was something Raven admired, but was firmly set in believing it wasn't as good a trait as people thought. For without the mother, how will the baby bear survive the world? Even still, Fox was no longer caring for people. Her cubs had been slaughtered.
"Bye," Fox replied. She gently hung up the phone, and walked back to the room where Gifted and Crow were supposedly still at. "I really appreciate your hospitality, Gifted," she said, nodding cordially to her friend, "but I should get going..." Fox looked up at Crow. "Um, if you don't mind, could we talk outside for a few?" She looked back at the princess. "Is there anything you need before I go?"
