[FoxTrott]

While Crow didn't want to move, Fox didn't want to let go. She clung to him and tried to forget everything that happened, tried to make time turn back to that day behind the waterfall, in Forli... All she could see was a barren wasteland, rain slowly turning the irradiated dirt into mud.

"I-I wish everything could go back to the way it was," she said, shivering.

[Dokeshi]

"I wish it could too Fox..." Crow replied and stroked her hair.

Fox shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts. She turned to Gifted, but still stayed close to Crow. "You said you have a new international news station, right?" she asked, composed for now, "I'd like to make a speech on it, please... I'm still a leader. I need to see if there are any survivors, people that were off-island..." She turned back to Crow. "I-if there are any citizens that are still alive, could they stay in Talesworth, until I can figure something out?"

[Dokeshi]

He nodded,"Of course they can."

[Gifted]

Gifted nodded. "Sayoko," she called out the door. "Could you get the Cameras ready? Fox wants to do a speech. And get an apple, too," she said. Sayoko nodded and left. "alright, givee her 2 minutes and everything will be set up. Don't ask how she's that fast, she's just that ninja,"

This time it was not the entire inner circle watching as the speech was given. in fact, there may have been less than a dozen people.
"I'm worried about her," Trisha said as she was watching Fox give her heartfelt speech.
"About Fox? Why?" Kaitlyn asked.
"There are any number of reasons to be worried for Fox, at the moment, but the main reason is that she's here. Is she really save here wht with all the crap going on nobdy can explain?" She replied.
"You believe the rumours, then?" Kaitlyn asked. "That theres something going on with Gifteds and anyone who questions it gets the same treatment?"
"Yes I do," she said.
Amazingly, Ryan nodded. "She's right. You'd have to be a moron not to believe it. Gifteds been acting so weirdly, and every time someone calls her out on it, they get hauled away and when the come back, they act weirder than gifted. No, somethings definatley up,"
"I agree. We need to do something about it, now," Kanon said.
"Hey did Gifted ever give you that lighter?" Trisha asked.
Kanon shook his head.
Emric suddenly came up behind them. 'Hey, guys, Princess Gifted sent me to get you,"
"Us?" Ryan went a little pale.
"No, not just you four. Also you guys over there," He pointed to a large group, huddled together whispering just like the four of them. "She wants to talk to just about everyone. I think I got everyone rounded up now, I think theres only like six of us that aren't wanted at the mmoment. Don't ask me why,"
"Huh, odd," Trisha said,, getting up. "Who wasn't wanted?"
"Uh, Domenic, Xander, Alex, Joan, Cristel and... oh whats her name, the retard..."
'Anna is NOT a retard," Heather snapped.
"Oh yeah, Anna was her name,"
"'Retard' is a word people don't use anymore. When they did use it, it was meant to mean a slowness in intellect. Anna is not intellectually impaired in that way. She may have an average IQ or even an above average IQ" Trisha recited like she'd swalowed a textbook.
"Nerd," Ryan said as they walked into the room.

Sayoko went into the room with Gifted, Crow and Fox inside. "Miss Fox?" she asked. "Mistress Raven would like to speak with you if you are not terribly busy. She claims it's urgent,"

Fox walked away from the cameras after her speech, and held her sides. I'm going to be dead, sooner or later, she thought, trying to convince herself it was the right choice, Right now, nobody's dependent on me, so I've got nothing to lose... She looked up at Sayoko, and ran to where she supposed the phone would be.

"Hello?" she said once she picked it up, "Th-this is Madame--Um, this is Fox Trott... I don't really have people to be the madame of, at the moment..."

[Raven]

"Are you stupid?!" Raven shouted at her. "I never thought you were the suicidal type, Fox, but this is certainly a death wish!"

[FoxTrott]

"I'd rather take the peaceful death of one person than a nuke of an entire country, Raven!" Fox shouted back, "That's easily what could happen if I don't, well, give myself up! I've always been an utilitarian, which means that I decide actions on the basis of what would produce the most happiness. One death to stop a million more! It's simple!" She was in tears.

[Raven]

Raven was silent for a minute, and even Kenny could tell it was so she could gain control of herself. "Did you ever stop to think that maybe they don't have any more explosives?" she asked quietly.

[FoxTrott]

"Did you ever stop to think there are more ways to destroy a large amount of people than a bomb?" Fox countered, "As long as I do not reveal my location, everywhere is a target, every person could be me in disguise. 'What better way to find a needle in a haystack than to burn the hay?' is their ideology. Innocents are strictly off-limits during war, so nobody would launch a nuclear warhead simply to wreak a war with Forli. They wanted to kill. They wanted to kill me."

[Raven]

"Or, perhaps, it's some psycho who just kills to kill. There are people like that, and some of them are sane enough to gain the power to destroy the world as we know it. Some that could take advantage of the world leaders' hospitality. Either way, the only leaders who strike me as able to make such a weapon are Rachel and Crow. Diz is the only one who fits the 'crazy' agenda, though," she said.

[FoxTrott]

"I'm trying to convince myself it wasn't a leader, but it just isn't working," Fox sighed, "Could... Um, are there any organizations you know of that would benefit from Forli's, um, lack of inhabitants?" She rubbed her eye, and tried not to cry. "If not, I need to do some private investigating... I wish I was a theist, because then I would have something to look forward to after this is all over..."

[Raven]

"I don't, but it's hardly likely that most organizations like that would let on that they could benefit," Raven replied.
