One of the men on the boat who was holding Pierce answered his question. "No, you're in Amestris. Don't worry though, as soon as we check you out as being ok we'll send you back to wherever you were going. No charge." He smiled at him and took him over to sit next to him as the boat sped back to the mainland.

"It's not funny!" Heather gasped, finally breaking one and stubling through. "Can you guys tell me how far it is to the nearest city?"

Rachel narrowed her eyes as she flicked a few switches, making sure that the broadcast would be going live to everyone in Rillia on every channel. It would be interrupting the little kid's cartoons but she didn't care. This was more important than Emily the Emu. Rachel tapped her foot almost impatiently while she waited for everything to set itself up. When it had, she gave Beck a thumbs-up. Beck didn't smile.
A little girl in one of the cottages on an island north of Arlen was watching one of the cartoons intently. She pouted as a 'big peoples show', as she called it, cut in. "Attention," Rachel called boldly. She was dressed as she always was when she showed herself to the general public. The strange makeup, the clothes... "Mummy, Mummy!" the little girl cried. "Rachel is on TV!" The mother rushed into the living room, concerned. "I understand that there is a rebellion forming in Arlen," Rachel continued, "and I know who you are, where you are. You cannot hide from me and you will not get away with this. If you turn yourself in now, I will spare your lives. If you do not, I will be forced to send in troops to destroy you. Make the decision and make it wise. You have until sundown today." She paused, making sure that everyone understood the message. "If anyone has any information on this rebellion's plans, please contact the authorities and you will be greatly rewarded. Now, have a nice day." The television screen flashed black before the cartoons resumed, a little further forward than they had been previously.
"You lie well," Rachel commended Beck once she had turned everything back off. "Thank you," she replied before exiting the room to get changed again.

At that, the natives laughed even harder. One climbed down from his perch on a branch, and let go when he was a few feet above the ground. He landed deftly on his feet in front of the foreigner. The tall, dark-skinned teen looked like he belonged in the city, with baggy shorts and a T-shirt, but the tribal tattoo on his face marked him as a jungle dweller. He held a machete in one hand, presumably for cutting the thick vines.
"Annex is that way," he said, pointing south, "It's a small farming town, but from there, you can take a bus to the capital, Essence." The teen propped the machete on his shoulder, as if he were a soldier holding a rifle. "I can guide you there, if you want." Snickers came from the rest of the natives.

The secound Rachel was talking Yazmin's LoDiCS was out and recording it in an offline messege. She sent it knowing she'd get a messege back in about thirty secounds, but oh well.
Back at the palace, I was a little busy. "Miss, you may want to see this," One of the servants told me. she went into the viewing room, mostly meant as a movie theater, and turned it to international news. "Raven is getting married to someone other than crow?" I gasped a few minutes later. "It appears so, miss," The servant replied. "Wonder how Crows taking this," I thought out loud. I felt kinda bad for him. I mean, I didn't trust him anymore, but that didn't mean I'd tottally forgotten we were suposed to be friends.

"Thank you," Heather said. "And before you ask, I'm an outcast from Panem, we're not exactly outdoorsy people," She shrugged. "Not all of us anyways. My name is Heather. Heather Leon."

The jungle dweller bowed respectfully. "Samuel," he said, "Pleased to make your acquaintance." As he finished speaking, an ominous rumble came from far overhead. The rest of the natives departed across the tree tops to their homes, knowing what the rumble foretold: rain. Swiftly, Samuel grabbed Heather's hand, and led her through the thick underbrush, cutting it down when necessary.
"If you don't mind," he began, "could you tell me why you are an outcast?"

Diz had finally arrived at the police department near the dock where the alien was being kept. Her cell rang. "Hello?" it was Sebastian. "Your highness, I've just been informed that Raven from Ravonia is marrying her second in command Adam. I just thought you would want to know." "Oh? Thank you for informing me Sebby." "No problem. Bye." he hung up" She quickly put her phone away as she walked through the halls to the room where the foreigner was being detained. There was a guard there to greet her at the door to the cell. "Your highness!" he bowed. "He's right in here." "Thank you. Would you mind unlocking the door for me?" He quickly nodded and opened the door for her. She gave him a nod and he closed the door with her and the foreigner alone together. Diz sat down in a chair across from the table from where he was sitting. "Hello. May I ask, what is your name?"

Rachel stalked back to her office, looking slightly bored. Sundown was too long. And it wasn't exactly as if she really was going to spare them... Rachel wasn't generally one for lying to her people, but this rebellion was making threats about her people's safety, so she wasn't going to hesitate in taking the appropriate measures. "Ma'am, there was just a broadcast on the international news channel involving Raven of Ravonia. She is engaged," Riley quickly informed Rachel as she entered. She nodded. "Of course she is." "Y-you know?" Riley asked her, surprised. Rachel paused. "Well, it's not exactly hard to guess that she and Crow are going to get married, Riley," she snapped. Riley frowned. "But..." "Silence." Rachel shot him a glare. "Ma'am, I'm sorry, but she's engaged to her second in command." Rachel made a slight choking noise, obviously surprised. "What?"

Fox grabbed the conference table, and pulled herself up, with the help of her secretary.
"S-seriously?" she stuttered, "And it's not Crow? This must be a political move, nothing else. I really hope the messenger tells Miss Raven to come down here and explain herself. Not just about the alliance, but the engagement, too."
"You're not the only one that's shocked," the secretary said, "All over the news, it's all they can talk about. I'm sure Mister Crow is shocked, too."
"More like planning her fiance's death." Fox settled back into a chair, and picked up her notes. "Keep the monitor on. Try to get a hold of Raven by phone, though. I need to talk to her." The secretary nodded, and left to her post at her desk.

Raven jumped when the phone rang. "It's Fox," one of the servants called from the other room. Raven scrambled to pick it up. "Hello?" she asked into the receiver.

The secretary covered the mouthpiece with her hand, and called, "Fox! Miss Raven is on the phone!"
The leader ran out of the room and grabbed the phone. She panted into it for a few moments before beginning. "I... I... Gosh, I need to exercise more... I thought you were in love with Crow! What's with this marriage to your second in command? And what's with the sudden alliance?" Fox leaned against her secretary's desk, and sighed. "You're making a lot of political moves. What... oh, I moved to fast, what are you trying to pull, Miss Raven?"

"I'm 'trying to pull' safety and comfort for my people," Raven answered. "We have enough trouble without adding a war to the list."

"I said-" "I know what you said!" Rachel snapped, frowning and continuing to her office. "Also, Ma'am, there is a messenger here to see you. From Raven of Ravonia," Riley added, much to Rachel's displeasure. Why did he not know how to shut up? "A messenger?" Rachel's head popped back around the corner. Riley nodded. "Quick, go get Beck! Make sure she doesn't take the make up off!" Rachel then made her way towards the large window that showed Arlen in it's full beauty. "I want to be there," she whispered before turning around and heading to her bedroom.
When the pair were both ready, Rachel told Riley to send the messenger in. Rachel was dressed in a maid's uniform and was gently dusting random stuff around the room. Beck was seated at the desk. "You'll be okay," Rachel said with a smile as Riley went to see the messenger.

The messenger entered and bowed to Beck, thinking she was Rachel. "Madame Rachel," he said. "Mistress Raven sent me in proposition of an alliance."
