I almost rolled my eyes. I'm not the princessy type. It's why debates and stuff are never public. I don';t have to be a Queen then. I can just be me. "Rise and deliver your messege," I said

He leaned back in his chair and spoke to her again," We're the only ones here why does it have to be appropriate and from the shade of your face it seems you don't think of it as a bad idea either." He stuck his tongue out at her and spun around one more time and deposited his finished lollipop in an incinerator. He looked over to her and spoke again," I appologize but is it such a bad thing that I find you attractive? Oh well I should know better than to chase after things I can't have we can seal the deal with a plain old signature if you wish." He pressed a few buttons and a few papers were deposited from near a monitor to his left.

Fox was sitting at the end of a long conference table, reviewing notes from the previous meeting. The delegates had managed to get through a single meeting without being interrupted by a rogue cell phone. Everything went smoothly, even after one of them brought up the issue of foreign affairs. The other countries had always made them uneasy, and things seemed especially uneasy as of late. Even though nothing had happened, there was some kind of tension hanging in the air.
"Fox, are you in here?"
The aforementioned leader looked at the door to the conference room. "No," she replied. A sigh came from the other side of the door, and it opened. "We've received word that an emissary from Ravonia has been sent," a secretary-looking lady said, "Apparently, they're wondering about an alliance."
"Alliance?" Fox asked, standing up. "Against who, is the question... Eh. I better greet them. If they arrive within the next little bit, send them in. I'm still looking over these notes."
"Whatever you say, your laziness..." The secretary departed. Just as she was about to close the door behind her, Fox realized what she said.
"Pardon?" Fox stared down the bridge of her nose at the secretary, realizing she looked faintly like Summer.
"Laziness," the secretary repeated.
"Laissez faire, you mean." Fox resumed reading the notes. "There's a difference."

The messenger rose. "Mistress Raven (AKA Mistress of the Night wait.... no... just NO... DX) would like to propose an alliance. She senses difficult times coming shortly and doesn't know who to trust. For this reason, I am here," he told Gifted. Raven shot a disapproving look at Crow. "Crow, the times for an easy relationship are gone," she snapped. "Do you happen to have a pen?" Finally the messenger walked in. "Madame Fox? I am here to speak with you about an alliance with Mistress Raven," he said, bowing.

" So says the one who calls herself "Mistriss"," Crow shrugged and passed her a pen that beeped slightly on the tip and handed it over to her and continued," Well here's your pen, will that be all for you today?"

She raised her eyebrows. If my spies were caught and found out to be spies after I make the alliance I could be in serious trouble. And unlike my games, these were peoples lives I was messing with! But on the other hand, my strategy had always been to make alliances instantly with everyoone and then take out the civillizations I didn't like individually. "What are the terms of the alliance?" I asked, thinking it would help me decide.

Raven leaned over and kissed him. "I guess we won't need this pen after all."
"If either nation is attacked, they shall receive assistance from the other. Also, we will have troops from Ravonia posted here, awaiting your command. You shall also be permitted to have troops posted in Ravonia," the messenger replied.

now it was his turn to turn slightly red and he dropped the pen to the floor. After a minute he pulled away and then spoke again," It seems we don't "mistress" so what now? wil lyou be staying for awhile or heading back now?"

I pondered this for a moment. "Tell her I will acept on one condition. If the country she does war with is a counrty I have already established a peace treaty with then I am not required to send help of any kind, though I will consider it if they are the ones who have started the war. Of course, the same rule would apply for her as well. If she cannot accept this term then my awnser will have to be no. I apologize for any inconvienince this causes," There that sounded offical enough. I waited hesitantly.

"I don't see how them missing me for a while longer will hurt anything. That is, if you want me to stay," Raven replied. "Do you have anything planned if I do?" Quite honestly, she was testing him.
The messenger nodded. "I believe she'll agree with those terms."

"Maybe I could show you around the city or soemthing? Best to know everything you can about your neighbors." He stood up as he spoke and slowly walked toward the exit and continued," unless you have something else in mind." With that he winked at her slightly and continued walking.

Raven rolled her eyes. "You're pushing you're luck, Crow," she told him. "I'd love to see your city, though."

HE shrugged and started walking up the stairs and called back to her," Luck favors the bold" He approached the door and held it open for her.

Raven smiled. "I thought luck favored the one the lady likes," she replied, walking past him.

"Well considering you said PUSHING my luck that must mean I have some so it's obvious you like me a little the kiss was convincing too." He spoke as he followed after her and sped a bit ahead so that he could preperly show her around, pointing oiut the various shops and lifestyles that were common.
