Red and Natalia met a few more times, though never at the school, before he sent her a message to meet him at Alchemy Coffee in the city, to come alone, and to not be followed.

Natalia understood immediately. She told Ryan she was going to stay in and catch up on homework, since "the professors are starting to be on my ass about it" and left when she was sure no one was around. She even wore the prosthetic arm she despised and a sweater, just so fewer people would see she was missing an arm and stare. She took the most circuitous route she could think of so no one would follow and still arrived when she was told to.

Red was sitting at a table in the corner, and he raised a hand in greeting when he saw her enter, but didn't move from his place. The building was decently busy, but no one would take note of two school kids meeting there on a nice day like this.

Red led the way down a few winding streets and into a nondescript building, entering a key code to the door so that it opened, though the security system looked years out of date. The interior of the building was a fairly open floor plan, and Red led her up a little ramp to where they could see over most of the building. There were a few people scattered about, but mostly, the building was filled with supplies. "The people here are either working on something for the cause, or else they're sheltering here for the time being. We have a few natural mages who have come here to hide after their abilities were uncovered. Of course, no one here uses their magic to harm anyone." That was actually mostly true.
