Cousins in Arms

It was a couple of days before Friday came around and the pair of them were going to go out to the amusement park. Willow had grabbed enough money for the entrance fee plus a bit more for some faire games if they wanted. She was waiting outside by the school sign, where they'd met a few times before.

Kailen left his last class before lunch, put this things in his locker, and headed out to meet Willow right away. Since it was lunch, it would be easy to leave the school without it seeming suspicious, since they could just be going to buy lunch somewhere else.

"Hey Kailen!" She grinned and opened her bag as he approached, showing him what she'd brought. She was always the one to arrange and execute the plans. "Alright, I've got money for us to get inside, and for food and drink and the faire - I raided your wallet for your share, I hope you don't mind. A water bottle for each of us, for there and back. A bottle of sunscreen - we'll put it on on the bus - both our bathing suits for the water park, a towel for each of us and an alarm on my phone to remind me to text Adam when the school bell rings so he thinks we're at the library. You ready to go?"

Kailen didn't care that Willow had been in his wallet. "Yeah! Let's go!"

Willow led the way off the school campus and the pair of them caught a bus to the next city. "Alriht, sunscreen. don't miss any spots. If we get burned our dad will know." She handed him the bottle as they sat down.

[Raven]

Kailen nodded seriously, carefully covering his arms, chest, face, and neck, then having Willow help with his back.

Willow helped him put on sunscreen and then had him help her apply some as well. "Alright, we'll need to apply i again around three, but we should be alright."

"Alright," Kailen said. "We can put more on when you text Dad." He grinned

"Sounds like a plan." Willow agreed.

[Raven]

Kailen grinned and when they arrived, he stayed close to Willow while they got their passes and got into the park. "What first?" He asked eagerly.

Meanwhile, Adam was using his lunch break to pack up things for them to go to the amusement park after school.

Willow and Kailen had one of the better adventures they'd had in a long time. They went on all sorts of rides and were just heading towards the water park when Willow's alarm went off. "Oh, that's my alarm." She noted, pulling out her phone.

[Raven]

"Time to text dad?" Kailen questioned.

Adam was picking up his classroom, planning to meet the kids in their usual place

"Right, yeah." Willow nodded and shot Adam a quick text. 'Hey, Kailen and I went to study in the library today. We'll see you tonight, okay? Love you. <3'

[Raven]

Adam raised an eyebrow when he got the text, but finished getting his things together quickly and headed to the library. When he got there, however, he couldn't find them. 'Alright, let me know when you're there,' he texted back.

Willow frowned. That was a weird response. "Hey Kailen, do you normally also text Uncle Adam when I text him to tell him we've arrived?" Willow asked.
