"Alcohol is a bit of an exception because it acts like a stimulant in small doses, although cutting it out is still never a bad idea. I'm mostly talking about like, heroin, or Xanax or marijuana, stuff like that. Laziness enhancers, all of them. But, they make good money. Marijuana not as much as the others but more people are willing to buy it since it's safer."

"Yeah. I used to have these two I realy liked who were totally clean but... we hit a rough patch." He frowned. "You'd have really liked them, too. You'd have gotten along with her so well..." He looked down, finally sighing. "But yeah, the rest of them do."

And schools are all on about peer pressure to do drugs, but it's the lost friends that really screw you over. But if they don't want to stick by you because of that, they aren't worth it."

"She was upset because some of my other friends aren't very nice to her." Liam said. "And she doesn't approve of me being involved in dealing. I tried to keep all tha stuff separate when I was hanging out with her, same as I do with you guys, but apparently that wasn't good enough."

Kailen nodded sympathetically. "Not all my friends thought I was lame when Willow helped me stop smoking, some of them left before that," he said. Unlike Liam, though, he'd been kind of a dick about it.
