"Oh! We don't generally get a whole lot of media attention no more, 'specially not unannounced. Ad I'm not actually the guy who deals with them when we do, but I can get Banion and see if he'll see you. He loves you guys, I'm sure it'll be fine. Just a sec, kay?"

"I'm not in a rush. Thank you so much!"

"Yeah, no big! Just a second!" Lucas went over to Banions room and knocked. "Hey, Banion! There's a reporter at the door!"

It took a minute or two, but eventually the gate opened for the reporter.

Kimi drove in and followed the drive to where she could park and got out of her car, running a hand through her hair and holding a little notepad and a pen in one hand. She took her sunglasses off and looked around at the building, impressed.

The front door opened and Banion was standing there. "Good morning Ma'am. My name is Banion Maree. You spoke to my team member about an interview?"

[Raven]

"Yes," Kimi confirmed, offering a hand for him to shake as she put her sunglasses down. "Kimberly Carter, but you can call me Kimi."

[Gifted]

Banion shook her hand warmly. "Well, I would be more than happy to oblige, Miss Kimi." He said. "Come in." He stepped back and held the door open for her to come into the building.

Kimi smiled and stepped inside. "Thank you, Banion. Can I call you Banion? I'm an online journalist from the Deer River Examiner."

"Whatever you feel most comfortable with. Sit down." He gestured to the couch and chairs in the front room. "Would you like a cup of tea before we begin?"

[Raven]

Kimi sat down on the couch, crossing her leg. "I prefer coffee, but thank you."

"Of course, I apologize. The Englishman in me." He joked. "Angélique?" He called.
Angélique, who'd been making breakfast in the kitchen, stuck her head out. "Oh! Qui es-tu?" She asked.
"Could you get miss Kimi here some coffee, please?" Banion asked.
"Veux-tu du lait ou du sucre?" She asked.
"She doesn't speak French, Angélique." Banion said disapprovingly.

[Raven]

"I don't, I'm sorry," Kimi confirmed. "My dad used to say he could, but I'm pretty sure that was just to pick up girls since I never heard it." She laughed. "It's nice to meet you."

Wulf was in his room for the time being.

Angélique's face fell and she went into the kitchen and brought out a cup of milk and a cup of sugar cubes and set them on the table. Then she went back into the kitchen to make the coffee.
"I apologize. Shall we begin?" Banion asked.

[Raven]

Kimi looked a little worried, but she nodded. "Yes, of course. What is your role for the GGPL? You're the leader?"

[Gifted]

"That I am. I've led the League for many years now, since my dear friend and former colleague passed."
