A Team of Heroes

[Raven]

Wulf frowned slightly, but he nodded. "Let's get going," he agreed.

[Gifted]

"Quite right." Banion nodded and the group headed back to where they'd parked the helicopter.

[Raven]

Wulf followed along, smiling. "We did good today, huh?"

[Gifted]

Banion smiled. "Undeniably." He agreed. "Those men will not hurt anyone any more."

[Raven]

"It's a good feeling," Wulf said, grinning.

[Gifted]

The group made their way to the helicopter. They were just getting to the edge of town when Wulf heard a voice, speaking in perfect English from behind one of the buildings they were passing. "Seven, six, five... four..."

[Raven]

"Stop," he warned, stepping back and away from the building.

[Gifted]

The group turned to look at him. Sasha, Tamara and Jae were quicker on the uptake; they immediately started sweeping the area for the agressor. Jae and Sasha had just seen the consequences of not being prepared - they weren't keen on being too slow again.
"Three...two... one."
"There!" Sasha pointed at an alley next to the building, where they could see the familiar shape of the older american woman - Bullet Hel. Her sniper rifle from last time was strung on her back, but she was holding a shotgun. The woman pulled the trigger, but Sasha acted fast; using her telekinesis she managed to jerk the gun barrel upward, causing the woman's shots to wildly miss. The woman exited the alleyway so she wasn't boxed in and fired again.
Suddenly a great blue-white wall shot up between them. Glancing back, they saw Banion with snow coming off of his hand, shooting a blue beam at the wall which froze on contact and thickened the defense. The shotgun pellets hit the wall but did not make it to the team. "Sasha, Tamara, are you able to hold her off?" He asked. "I must get everyone else back to the helicopter safely."
"Yes sir." Tamara nodded and drew a handgun. Sasha nodded.
"Excellent." He ceased building the wall. "Let us go quickly. Come on." He waved them onward.

[Raven]

"Are you sure you'll be able to handle her alone?" Wulf asked, his eyes flicking between the two girls he considered friends.

[Gifted]

Tamara was hard to read, and she didn't answer the question. Sasha was easier; she looked anxious. But she said. "You're new, I don't want you ending up like Klaus. Go to the helicopter."

[Raven]

"I won't," Wulf said. "I'm a survivor." He also wasn't sure if he could handle the guilt if he left and either of them got seriously hurt.

[Gifted]

"Stay if you must." Banion didn't have time to argue. The rest of them were down the road when Bullet Hel aimed her gun around the edge of the wall and fired at the three of them.
"Sideways, on the wall. Make yourselves smaller targets." Tarmara said. She began to return fire. Sasha was hit by two shotgun pellets, but it was not lethal.

[Raven]

Wulf did as he was instructed, leaning out when he felt it was safe to take better shots. He didn't stop to ask if Sasha was okay, focusing instead on making sure they didn't get shot worse.

[Gifted]

He managed to hit Bullet Hel in the arm, and she jerked back behind the wall with a cry of pain. Sasha pursued while she was distracted, but when they got around the wall Bullet Hel was gone.

[Raven]

"Let's follow the others, make sure she didn't go after them," Wulf said. "Keep alert, she might not be gone."
