He nodded. "We get many grassroots donations by those who believe in our cause. In our more high-profile cases, many national or international bodies will also provide substantial donations for our assistance in a war or for dealing with a terrorist or other high-profile targets. However it is certainly not mandatory of them, nor do we expect it. Still, it occurs regularly enough to assuage any fear of being unable to collect sufficient donations. We prefer the autonomy to being governed by the UN or a national body. We are heroes, not tools for political gain."
