"Good evening, sorry to bother you. There's a young girl in my bar who says her foster home burnt down earlier today and she hasn't seen her foster family since. She said her name was Anna, and her foster father is a policeman with the first name of Richard. She couldn't give me a phone number or address."

"I don't know, she said her name was Anna, I've never seen her before today." He gave the secretary the address to his bar. It was firmly in Devils Advocate territory, but he hoped that wouldn't slow down the response time. "She's the only one in here. I gave her root beer and kicked everyone else out."

I'm in the middle of gang territory and my bar is frequented by all sorts. I don't want to give anyone any trouble, but it still could get bad for me if they find out. You understand."

Vincent went to his small fridge and stuck a couple of hot pockets in the microwave until they were warm to take down to Anna. "Sorry, I don't have much in the way of food, but I thought this was better than nothing." He set them out in front of her on a bit of paper towel.
