"Yeah, if they got in, they'd have to be decent," Albion agreed.

Roux went to go find the auditorium.

Fuchsia went off to go bother someone else, and Opal sighed. Fuchsia was right about one thing; Her ax stuck out like a sore thumb. She felt very self-conscious of the old thing now that she knew her dads true colours. He'd famously fought with a battleaxe too, and she'd modeled hers on his a long time ago. Clutching the old thing self-consciously, she went to find another group to talk to and found two girls in black and grey just standing there looking at each other. "Well, you two look cheery." She tried to start a conversation.

"Exactly. And like, I don't mind helping a new kid out if they aren't so great. As long as they admit they need the help they can get better, y'know?"

[Raven]

"I mean, no one should be any newer than us," Albion commented.

Nisha's expression bordered on physical pain, but she looked at Opal like a savior. Glancing at Gri, she rubbed her neck. "Yeah... Er, hello."

[Gifted]

"Hi. What's your names? I'm Opal." She greeted the two of them.
"Gri." Gri answered again.


"Yeah, that's true." He was missing her point, so Tang dropped the subject.

[Raven]

"I'm Nisha," she said, smiling slightly.

"Anyway, you wanna go look around?"

[Gifted]

"Good to meet you. So you guys excited for our first day?" Opal asked.

"You know it!" Tang said eagerly.

[Raven]

Albion went to go exploring.

"Yeah. I'm excited to get started," Nisha said. "I heard there will be teams."

[Gifted]

"Yeah, I just hope that we aren't expected to pick them ourselves. I don't have a whole lot of people I actually know well I would want to be on a team with..." She admitted.

Tang began to wander and explore as well.

[Raven]

"I don't know a lot of people either," Nisha said. "Maybe we'll be matched based on skills."

[Gifted]

"Maybe!"
"I would like that." Gri surprised Opal by adding a comment to the conversation. "Leave personality out of it. Match us with those people who compliment our powers and strategies the best. Ensure teams are maximized for the best fighting potential. That's how it ought to be looked at."

[Raven]

"It would be beneficial, as long as we could work together effectively," Nisha agreed.

Roux found her way to the front courtyard and started looking around at the gardens.

[Gifted]

"We would have to, at least when teachers are watching." Gri pointed out. "Authority figures make it unlikely anyone will act too much out of turn."

Tang made it out to the gardens and approached a girl who looked lonely out there by herself. "Hey, short stuff."

[Raven]

Roux blushed, glancing around behind her. "Hi," she greeted, her tail pushing even farther out of sight.

"Yeah, but things work better if it's genuine," Nisha said.

[Gifted]

"There's no such thing." Gri responded.
Opal was confused. "What?!"


"How ya doin'?" Tang continued to talk to her casually.

[Raven]

Roux breathed and smiled cheerfully. "Great. How are you liking Beacon so far?"

"Huh?" Nisha asked, baffled
