"I certainly hope you wouldn't be dumb enough to turn her down for a class if you do have a class then." A voice said behind him. Kira had awoken and come inside to find them. Danielle of course couldn't see her. Kira could only be seen by people she chose to allow to see her.

Kenny had long learned not to look at Kira when she spoke, at least not when they were in public. There seemed to be no acknowledgement that he'd heard her at all. "Yeah, I'd love to meet you then. I'm free tomorrow afternoon."

"Great! I can't wait!" Danielle said, as Kira hopped up on the bench next to Kenny.
"Don't mind me, I'm just here to watch you reel her in for awhile." Kira said, and as Kenny and Danielle chatted and laughed she was mostly quiet, only muttering to herself occasionally, such as "Such a pointless woman." and "This is what passes for a student for my sister nowadays?" and "Pathetic."

Kenny excused himself to the bathroom halfway through the meal. Once he was away, he hissed at Kira, "Do you know how distracting you are?"
