Kenny nodded, and before too long they got to the restaurant. "This place works a little differently than most American restaurants. It's sort of a buffet style - they have a salad bar with breads, fruit, salads, pasta, and they bring around different meat to the table."

"Oh, that sounds cool." Danielle was fascinated. "Alright! I'm ready for anything!" She laughed. That was something she'd said since she was a kid. She'd picked i up from one of her old friends she used to play superhero games with, who'd always remind them to be 'ready for anything' when she led them into battle.

Kenny glanced at her, but just smiled and led her inside. They were led to a table in the back. "Have you been here before?" the host asked.
"Yes, thank you," Kenny responded, smiling.
"Alright, what would you two like to drink?"

"My dad started his own business, but it's really not all that interesting," Kenny said. That was stretching the truth. "I've got no interest in taking over, and I'm fairly certain my dad would leave it to my brother, that's why I'm looking into my own. What about you?"

"I'm not such a fan of my brother, but he doesn't live at home anymore, so it doesn't really matter," Kenny responded. "It's just me and dad, and his girlfriends, but I'm taking lots of credits this term, so I'm hoping I'll be out of school before too long."

"Yeah, most people don't like their siblings, I know. I had a friend as a little kid with like 6 or seven brothers and sisters and she hated all of them." Danielle laughed. "I got really lucky with my brother. He's the best. Although you may not want to meet him." She added, giggling. "He tends to be kind of awful when I BRING GUYS HOME." she blushed when she realized she'd said that like they were alread together, when he hadn't actually asked her out yet.
