Lasher: using Lasher feats may cause your Pokemon to dislike you
Main stat: strength (+1 when class is taken)
Given feats:
Brutal training: (at will) you spend half an hour training your Pokemon. For the remainder of the day, that Pokemon is Brutal, increasing critical hit and effect range of all moves by +1. You may only use Brutal Training once per Pokemon per day. While your Pokemon are under the effect of brutal training and have at least one injury, they gain a bonus to all damage rolls equal to your strength modifier.
Lashing: (at will) you apply brutal training. Each Pokemon you trained that does not have at least one injury gains one injury.
Other feats:
Brutality: (at will) you command one of your Pokemon to do better, for the remainder of the round, that Pokemon is Brutal, increasing critical hit and effect range of all moves by +1. You may only use Brutality once per Pokemon per encounter. While your Pokemon are under the effect of brutality and have at least one injury, they gain a bonus to all damage rolls equal to your strength modifier.
No pain, no gain: (static) your Pokemon gain an additional 5% exp from battles for each injury they have at the end of the encounter, up to a maximum of 30%.
Fear into Cruelty: (daily) your Pokemon who you have raised through 5 levels and applied Lashing to at least once. The Pokemon gains the Cruelty capability. Once per encounter/battle, as a swift action, they may deal an amount of damage equal to your strength stat to any one target. Damage is neutral. Do not apply weaknesses, resistance, or stats. The target gains one injury. See mechanics to see how injuries work.
Desperation:
Prereqs: fear into cruelty, brutality
You use brutality on your Pokemon with the cruelty capability. Until the next round, the target gets a bonus to all rolls it makes equal to the number of injuries it has, up to the maximum of your strength modifier.
Strike of the whip:
Prereqs: lasher, press
(At-will) you use press. You may apply one or more of the following effects to your Pokemon hit by press:
*give the target 1 injury and temporary HP equal to your strength modifier.
*use your Command action to cure the target of confusion, infatuation, rage, and suppression
Persevere:
Prereqs: no pain no gain, fear into cruelty
(At will) your Pokemon with the cruelty ability may faint at -30% HP instead of 0. Pokemon cannot use the moves Endeavor, Explosion, Flail, Pain Split, Reversal or Selfdestruct while they have 0 HP or less. Deadly gambit may not be used on your Pokemon while it is at 0 HP or less. Pokemon with the Soulless ability cannot benefit from persevere. Pokemon cannot benefit from Persevere and Press On! At the same time. Using persevere WILL make your Pokemon dislike you.
Deadly gambit:
Prereqs: 5 lasher features, 20 strength
(Encounter) your Pokemon is targeted by a damaging attack. The attack automatically hits as if it was a critical hit. Before the damage resolves, your Pokemon may use a 1-target damaging attack on the foe as an interrupt, and also automatically a critical hit. Damage resolves at the same time. This bypasses critical hit immunity on your own Pokemon, but not on the foes. You may still roll to activate attacks.
Mechanic: injuries are naturally accumulated by all Pokemon and trainers as their HP drops, but most Pokemon and trainers heal through normal methods. Due to repeated injuries, severity, and placement of wounds on lashers Pokemon, theirs take a bit more to heal. Every time a Lasher's Pokemon loses 1/8th of their HP, they gain an injury. Every time they take 50% of their max HP in one hit, they gain an additional injury for massive damage. Injuries fade after once extended rest at full HP.
Injuries do not inflict additional damage on their own. On Pokemon who are not Lasher's, injuries inflicted by Lashers may be healed normally. While in effect, they lower one relevant stat (not HP) by two combat stages.
Prereqs: ace trainer: weapon of choice
Pokemon trainer: 18 str, weapon of choice
Artificer: own a weapon, 14 str
Capture specialist/juggler: 18 str, may use pokeballs as weapon
Weapon master: selected weapon of choice can be non lethal
