Amy nodded, "Alright, let's go." She led the way, but this time they went much longer without seeing any Pokemon. "Violet city is right up there." It had been a long walk, but Amy didn't seem to mind too much. "There's a path over here if we want to see about some more Pokemon, though."

Two wurmple, a silcoon, and a cascoon were the next Pokemon they found. Amy threw out her rufflet again. "They're bug types. Weak to flying and all that."

The silcoon and cascoon both used harden, and the wurmple used poison sting on Avet.

Erica quickly dexed a wurmple as well so that she wouldn't miss the opportunity. "Fury Attack the cascoon!"

The cascoon fainted. "Avet, leer at the silcoon." She didn't want to knock it out before they had a chance to Dex it, but she was sure her bird would kill the wurmple.
