Doomette stopped running, breathing a sigh of relief. "Good work," she said, approaching Demetra, cradling the unconscious McDuff in her arms. "They'd have made a crisp outta me if it weren't fer you and that darnlin' Zorua of yours."

[Gifted]

"Aurora would've fainted a long time ago if it weren't for your help." Demetra said, still surprised by his extreme kindness. "So thank you. Now come on, let's get that lillipup of yours to the pokemon center."

[Doom]

"Right." The two made their way back into Ecruteak and into the Pokemon Center. Once inside, Doomette nodded to the counter. "You go first."

[Crymzun]

After the 3 day trip from Canalave to Goldenrod City Nero Anxiously hopped of the boat onto the port giving his new friend freedom from her pokeball. "Artemis we're here!" He hugged her awaiting the adventure they've started together. "GIIIBLE!!" With the accepting and Excited cry of his pokemon they ran into Goldenrod and looked for the market. It was pretty busy and crowded so he walked up to the city centre and grabbed a map. It took him a good 15 minutes to figure out where they were in the city. He flipped it over seeing the map of Johto on the back, "Huh... so North of here is Ecruteak hey? HEY Cynthia was there a while back, we should go Artemis!" Nero smiled excited to go to Ecruteak, but first things first he knows shelter and potions for his pokemon are always important so with that on his mind he looks at the map and heads to the Poke-mart to buy a place to sleep and some potions just in case. He walks in and grabs 3 potions and a tent and brings them up to the counter. "Hi how much are these?" Looking up at the cashier with the fiery eyes of a new trainer.

[Raven]

"The potions are 200 each, and the road kit is 250 for the whole thing," the shop owner answered. "The total would come to 850."

[Crymzun]

"Oh uhh okay here" Almost shaking from the excitement, that his adventure with Artemis was about to happen for real. He rummaged through his pocket and pulled a wad of cash and handed the pokeyen to the cashier, and actually umm do you sell pokeballs here?

[Raven]

"We sell just about every kind of ball you could imagine here. They're on the second floor." As he was in Goldenrod, the department store carried most everything he could need.

[Crymzun]

"Oh really? Thanks! Let's go Arty" she turned and followed Nero into the stairwell. She had a little bit of trouble climbing up each individual stair, Nero was pretty amused by the sight but felt bad at the same time. He walked down the stairs and began to push her up onto each step to mae her feel happy about herself. When they got up to the next floor Artemis was quite pleased with herself and was happily almost skipping, or what you could consider skipping for a round dragon with stubby legs. Nero asked the cashier how much their pokeballs were. and was shown to where they were located to know the prices of all the kinds of balls they had to offer.

[Raven]

The three standard balls were set together while special balls were placed on other shelves. The basic balls were 200 each, great balls 500, ultra balls 1000. When Nero looked for the luxury balls, he found that they were also 1000 pokeyen each.

[Crymzun]

Nero grabs 2 gleaming pokeballs off the shelf, and grabs a great ball as well. He takes a moment to marvel at them before he turned and brought them to the counter. He put them onto the counter and readied 900 pokeyen to pay for them. After paying he recalled Arty nervous she'd fall down the stairs, not that it would matter, her skin seemed pretty tough but why take the chance. He was now standing looking out at the entrance of route 35, pulling out his luxury ball he released Artemis "You ready?!" She looked up with a happy smile taking up her face, and they set off onto route 35. It being around 6-ish he wanted to make as much ground as he could before nightfall. He made do with what he had through route 35, 36 and 37, surviving off berries he found in trees, One of them made him really sick for a few days, but it passed, luckily... He made it, starving and a little skinnier than he already was. He was standing at the entrance to Ecruteak, and now that he was here he looked down at his partner, "what do you say we get into a pokemon battle? if we get hurt Ecruteak is right here so we're in no danger right?" Gible wasnt very sure of what to make of the question but she was told aaaaall about some important girl named Cynthia and she usually sat there listening patiently not understanding what half of what he was saying meant. She could see the fire in her trainers eyes so she happily nodded in agreement even though they luckily avoided any pokemon or trainer confrontations, now they were looking for a pokemon to battle in the bushes off the trail of route 37.

[Raven]

A wild ODDISH appeared. Artemis goes first.

[Crymzun]

Nero's eyes lit up when he saw the odd plant "a pokemon! Artemis SAND ATTACK!!"

"Oddish," the plant pokemon said unhappily and absorbed some of Artemis' energy.
