Demetra looked back and realized the trainer from before was helping her. After being left alone by her parents and ostracized by kids in her hometown, she wasn't used to people just volunteering help, ad resented needing it. However, she knew she did need it.
"Thank you, do you have any healing items? I'll pay you back for them. Aurora's in bad shape."

Aurora went after the mother again, seeing her attacking Mcduff and recognizing Mcduff was a friend.

"Aye," answered Doomette, pulling another potion from her bag. "Yer in a jam. Ah won't make ye pay me back for a silly potion." She tossed it Demetra.

[Raven]

Papa Vulpix circled McDuff and Tail Whipped at Aurora, glaring at the pokemon that had now attacked both his baby and his mate. (Twos are really common Oo)

McDuff weathered the attack, charging his attacker. Doomette said nothing in protest, as she would have directed McDuff's offense to the sister anyway.

Demetra was horrified. "Get out of here!" She hollered. Aurora moved to cover Doomette nd let her and her fainted pokemon escape.

Aurora failed so horribly, she tripped over a log and the wild Vulpixes ignored her completely. Both of them turned after Doomette and her fainted pokemon, racing to try to get them.

"Ugh!" Demetra was getting frustrated. Whatever, at least they were running now, so this would be a much deadlier hit. "Aurora, Pursuit!"

Aurora attacked the Papa Vulpix.
