Lauren ignored Rakel's presence, but was otherwise nice enough. She mostly focused on taking care of Chase.
As Kenny was finishing up the cooking, Rick and Fredrick popped into the room. "Hey, Kenny!" He grinned. "Smells delicious."

Frederick smiled when he arrived, helping put the pies down on the counter. "It does," he agreed. "Is everyone here?"
"Yeah," Kenny said. "Most of the kids are out back. Hey guys. It's good to see you."

Rakel definitely heard the voices, but didn't bother coming out to see who was here.

"Yes. Let's bring out the main dishes first," Frederick said, picking up a salad bowl and marching it dutifully outside.
Kenny nodded. "Let's do it." He grabbed the turkey and most of the other dishes levitated after him. "Rick, will you grab the table cloth? We have enough seating space outside already but outdoor tables aren't the picture of cleanliness."
