Nikka's eyes got wide and she held his arm. "Really? That's amazing. Who would have guessed something like that would happen?" The glow from her power was much more obvious now that it was dark, and she couldn't risk using it anywhere they might be seen.

He chuckled again, not really paying attention to the glow. He was already very used to the paranormal, especially being brought up as he was. "It's unusual to say the least. I wonder, is it too prideful to say you've a beautiful name?"

"Yeah. Pretty little thing, looks like her father. Very sweet girl, wouldn't hurt a fly. She lives with her boyfriend or significant other or whatever. Her dad hates the guy, but he's very good to her from what I hear." he said.
He was very involved with Anya's life, which Vlad only barely allowed. At first he had become present in her upbringing only to see Vladdy,but very quickly learned to love the angel like his own daughter (though whether or not he actually had any was up for debate). He visited somewhat often, though had never mananged to meet Jeremiah or Nikka.
