"Hm. Well okay then. Guess the fights with Joan were getting boring anyway. It's more interesting when there's new blood. Gives me more options."

"Well, this will certainly be a first for you," Ben said. He wanted so badly to pull out his coil, but he knew that would give him away. Pulling it out would definitely draw attention to it, and if he were to pull it out now, his other self would definitely know there was a reason for it.

[Gifted]

Ben grinned. "Well, shall we begin then?" He whipped his coil at Ben, trying to wrap it around his arm like he had the civilian.

[Raven]

Ben's eyes started to glow green as he grabbed the cable, sending as much electricity as he could along the line.

[Gifted]

Ben's eyes widened in shock when he saw the green light and electricity. This man had the same power he did...? Nobody was supposed to have the same power he did! His eyes turned green as well as he tried to use his own electricity to block Ben's current from reaching him, unsure if it's hurt him or not.

[Raven]

Ben continued trying to force the charge to meet with his alternate's skin, glad to have had the advantage. He stared towards the other him.

[Gifted]

Ben was pissed off that this other kid from nowhere had his power and thought he could best him. There could only be one current in this metal coil, however Ben and the boy were at equal strength and neither of them could completely short out the other. Ben yanked on the cord, trying to throw the other Ben off balance.

[Raven]

"Ah!" Ben was pulled forward, stumbling ungracefully towards the other man.

[Gifted]

Ben grinned, and suddenly let the metal rope go slack, hoping Ben would fall over.

[Raven]

Ben fell back, catching himself with the hand that wasn't tangled in the cable. The light in his eyes faded as his concentration broke.

[Gifted]

Ben grinned and when the other boy fell he went to shock him. Joan, not sure if shocking Ben enough to kill him was even possible or not but not wanting to lose another friend, drew a gun fro her holster and fired. However, Ben was expecting that as he'd been shot at before, as turned to the side as she was pulling her gun to void the bullet. This broke his concentration, so he pulled his metal coil back to him instead.

[Raven]

Ben pulled his own cable out quickly, unwrapping it from his waist and putting a charge into it even as he snapped it at the other man's leg.

[Gifted]

Ben had had a little practice with dodging things of this sort when Sharie was alive, but he was astonished when the boy produced a cord exactly like his. Caught off guard, he was able to dodge it - barely - but it left him disoriented and open for attack. This boy had the same power as him... used the same weapon as him... and, come to think of it, hadn't he once owned that outfit, many years ago...?

[Raven]

Ben lashed out again, aiming higher this time, the cord still buzzing with electricity.

[Gifted]

The cord caught around Bens arm and he cried out in pain as he was shocked. His eyes glowed green as he struggled to control the eletric current, to let it flow through him without harming him. Finally he lashed out with his own cord, aiming to wrap it around Ben and send is own power back at him.
