The Pandemic: Gifted vs. the Government

Xander nodded and didn't comment, though he looked like he wanted too. "I'm going to wake Adrian." The agent who was on watch sneezed and Xander jumped. Hearing them was different than being told they were there. He leaned down ad tried to shake Adrian awake. "Adrian. Come on, get up. Adrian... Adrian! Adrian!" Adrian wasn't waking up and Xander spoke a little too loudly in annoyance. "Adrian, wake up!"
There was a quickly stifled gasp from the other camp.

Ben looked sharply towards the gasp, and hid behind a tree. Whatever they knew from Sharie, they didn't know about him. Maybe he could catch them off guard when they tried to attack. He listened for them to move, wishing Xander wouldn't have skinned him for attacking them before they were up.

[Gifted]

"Rick! Joan! Rick! Wake up!" Sharie hissed, shaking the two gifted agents. They'd brought two others with them, but she knew from personal experience any nongifteds dumb enough to go up against Xander's team were getting pounded. "There're gifteds nearby!" Rick groaned.
Xander went pale. He recognized that voice. But no... no, it couldn't be...
"This is why I didn't want to sleep out here." Rick grumbled. "Stupid gifteds waking us up at seven in the morning."
"If the gifteds didn't wake you the sun would've." Joan pointed out with a sigh, getting up and stretching.
"Oh please wake up, quit being such a pansy." Sharie begged. She lowered her voice, trying not to let them hear. "I think I heard my friends!"
"Oh please Sharie, what're the odds of that happening?" Joan scoffed, not bothering to keep her voice low.

[Raven]

There was no way that wasn't Sharie. But what did she think she was doing referring to Xander and his group as her friends right in front of the agents? That was stupid if anything was. Ben frowned, and didn't move. He'd have to take her out, the others wouldn't, that was for sure.

[Gifted]

Adrian finally awoke. "Bloody-"
"Adrian shut up." Xander said. It was ages since he'd looked this scared. It couldn't be her... it just couldn't be... "I thought I heard..." He got up and started towards the voices.
They got there first Sharie, Rick and Joan broke through the trees between the two groups.
Sharie looked unharmed. She looked cleaner than she'd been when she'd been captured, her white shirt bright white again, her nails perfectly manicured and her skin flawless and healthy-looking. She gave a small smile when she saw Xander, but it seemed nervous.
Behind her were the two gifted agents who'd been responsible for her capture. The girls hand rested on her gun. That fucking boy was taking a defensive position just behind Sharie.

Ben, despite knowing he'd get hell for it, snapped his cable out and around the boy's arm and shocked him hard, having no idea it would do no good.
