Melanie looked up in fright when the door opened, but when Brookelynn came in, she relaxed even more than she had when she was left. She didn't seem to react to the speech at all, as though she wasn't paying attention or couldn't hear. Then Brookelynn asked her name. "Melanie," she answered, quietly. She gave no last name, though she started to.

Other: He willingly went to the facility to avoid a confrontation. Dont mess with Serenity....

Appearance: Long chestnut brown hair about to her mid back, Green eyes, black spandex, purple T-shirt, Black sweater.
Status: Running from the government and has evaded them twice

Allara nodded, as if she understood. Not knowing what else to say, she asked "So what do you need of me? For the tests you mentioned earlier?..." with a small sigh, she added "And am I going to help you cure others?..." She looked down, she was afraid to die. That's why she came here willingly, to get off the streets... To live... Tears began to spring up to her eyes and she went invisible as a force of habit.
Brookelynn smiled softly at the girl, and marked her name down on the clipboard she was holding. "No last name?..." she asked, as she crouched down to the girls level. "Do you have any questions regarding the virus?... Or concerns?..." Brookelynn was feeling sorry for the obviously frightened girl. "Do you have an anxiety problem?" she asked, really seriously.
Kathrine nodded at Ben, Olivia, and Xander. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance." She told them, with a slightly sarcastic lilt to her voice that she could never seem to get rid of. "I, am out here because my cousin has been taken by them. I am going to find her somehow." She then sighed. "But I've been sticking to the woods so that I can survive better. It's fucking horrible, but Brookelynn taught me enough that I can survive. You?" she asked quickly, after explaining herself to them.

Melanie shook her head, though it was obvious she just didn't want to tell her last name. She wouldn't even look at Brookelynn as she gave the non-answer. "... An anxiety problem?" Melanie asked, as though she didn't know what that was.
Ben decided to let Xander answer, him being the leader.

"You'll just need to- huh?" Sharie looked around for a minute and then realized she must've just turned invisible. Duh. "Oh wow, that's a cool power. But can I see you? The doctor will want you to test your power in a controlled environment soon anyway. He'll explain the procedures. All you have to do is submit to testing. If we have some immediate sucess with curing you and you look promising you'll be asked to stay here and go throuh further treatment. If not, you'll be taken to quarantine and you will be called out if we have any breakthroughs regarding your case." Which was pretty rare. Once someone was admitted to Quarantine, it was rare they came out.
Xander didn't like her tone, but he tried to be civil since he knew where she was coming from. "We've been fighting the government awhile, ourselves. You might know me as Hangman. We're planning a break-in as soon as we can to rescue a friend of ours and any others we can save along the way."

Allara wiped the oncoming tears and made them stop. "Sorry, my powers act up sometimes..." she gave a small laugh, as she became visible again. "So what is it that I need to do?" she said almost apologetically because of cutting Sharie off by going invisible.
Brookelynn nodded at her softly "Yeah, like a disorder? Did you ever need pills to help you be calm, or a doctor say something about you having a problem with anxiety..." She was terrible at this, and decided at another route. "Can you tell me everything you know about yourself? Mental, physical? Anything?..." she was smiling, hoping to get some information on her.
Kathrine listened to them. She had heard of him before, with Brookelynn shortly before she was taken. "I've heard of you. As for the break in, can I request to come with you?" she asked, with a small smile, that probably looked like a smirk even if it wasn't meant to. She quickly followed up with "So what's 'Special' about you guys?" By special she meant, powers. It was an impulse for her to ask, even if it was very lacking of tact.

Melanie twitched, avoiding the last question. "He's never let me see doctors," she said, quietly.
"I for one think it'd be an honor to have you along," Ben said, grinning and stepping forward to shake her hand.

Thanks Ben. Why would you pick her if we're picking and choosing anyway? You make her electricity redundant. Xander was a little irritated. "Sure."

Brookelynn looked at her sharply "Who wouldn't?..."
Allara nodded "Who's the doctor?..."

Ben shocked her, not enough to hurt, when she took his hand.
Melanie shook her head. "I shouldn't be here, he'll hit me." She curled up into a tight little ball, looking miserable, and quite frightened of 'him'.

Kathrine laughed when she felt the shock, and decided to zap him back, a glint in her eye while she did so.
Brookelynn smiled at her reassuringly. "I won't let anybody hurt you, my dear..." she tells her softly. "Just, tell me who 'He' is, please?... I'll help fix it..." she's trying to coax Melanie out of her frightened state, but it seems to be proving quite difficult.
