Symphony looked at the roof tiles. "I had no idea. He said he'd mentioned me, and the Order, but I didn't think it was anything like that," she mumbled.

"well yeah... he told me all about the Order, what they were and what they were doing, and about his best friend Symphony who told him about it. He really cared a lot about you. He was really looking forward to coming back and seeing you again before... well, before we realized exactly what we'd been doing." Tokarev shook her head. She could still hear the horror, the faint sickness in his voice as Portia had to tell Tokarev he'd shot his best friends mother. Tokarev had been horrified they'd been fighting the Order, but the blow to her and been nothing compared to what she saw on Portias face when she finally made it back. She hadn't known what to say. SO she'd thrown herself into the new plan, trying to help the both of them make amends. It would've worked too, had the damn army not shown up.
