Asmodeus was already sitting in his math class when Tokarev arrived. He was always the first one there, and then he sat in his desk and people watched. He tried to catch as many people's eyes as he could, but only a mind reader would know why. The fact was, Asmodeus was probably one of the least observant people in his observation class, but he had an unusual ability to watch things over and over and over. He could see underlying motives and past conflicts in people's minds. All he needed was to catch their eye. He wasn't sure if it was true that the eyes were the windows to the soul, but they were certainly windows to their memories.

Awoken by an alarm clock, Mercucio didn't even move to turn it off. He just groaned and buried his face in Saint's side. "Make it go awayy," he whined. Mercucio, unlike the rest of his family, was not a morning person. It went so far that he often missed his first class of the day. Not that he was particularly disappointed about missing Language. It was his weak point, to an extreme. He was among the slowest readers in the school, even counting the foreign ones. His writing was poor at best, and he was always the first to drop out of spelling bees. The fact was, his blankets - or Saint's - were infinite times better than any class, especially that one. Even without Saint beside him, there was no way he would willingly get up just to go across campus in the cold to that hell hole of a classroom.

Saint groaned "go away sound...." He had language first period as well, and he really didn't care either, though not because he was bad at it. He was the opposite of mercucio in that respect. He was so good, he just didn't even bother any more. He had enough extra credit to carry him through the semester easily.
So he pulled his "mercy" closer and tried to get back to sleep.

The obnoxious beeping didn't stop. "Turn it off," Mercucio moaned, covering his head with blankets and pillows.

Saint slammed his hand down with a mental prayer, and was succesful. However, he was a bit too succesful, and the poor machine broke apart with a pitiful crack. Saint sighed and mumbled, "I owe you a new clock..." and pulled him closer, burrowing deeper in his blankety goodness.

"It's no pain to me. Now I just get to sleep later," Mercucio mumbled, starting to do just that.

Saint smiled and lightly kissed his forehead, running his fingers through Merc's hair and muttering something about waking him in time for theater as he was pulled back into dreamland.

Melody was walking down the hall, humming a tune, when she heard music fading inside of a nearby room. Music in her mind only faded out when a person was falling asleep and she did her best to translate the lyrics to figure out who it was. I'll lick some sweet, sweet chocolate, some fake. Ah... Who cares if it's real or not? It's delicious and full of additives Oh, that would be Mercucio. He was in her Language class... which was starting in five minutes. Ad it sounded like Mercucio was falling back to sleep. She knocked on the door. "Mercucio! Get up!"

Mercucio jumped violently. Why was someone worrying about whether he was up or not? And for that matter, how did she know he wasn't? He scowled, sitting up. His fowl mood would never allow him to go back to sleep, but he wasn't sure he wanted the person knocking to have the pleasure of knowing he was awake, either. After a bit of deliberation, he opened the door. He hadn't even bothered to put on pants, he was just wearing briefs. "Whadda you want?" he asked, sleepiness slurring his speech slightly.

"Just being a good samaritian." She grinned. "You wouldn't want to miss your first class, would you?"

"Yes, actually, I would," Mercucio muttered crossly.

"Aw, come on, Language isn't that bad. I mean, your theme song isn't even in English." She smirked. "I'll see you in class."

Saint yawned and woke up. Without saying a word he went up to Merc, slammed shut and locked the door, and tried to bodily drag him back into bed, because snuggles.

"What?" He asked, before his room mate slammed the door in the girl's face. Mercucio moaned, wishing he could just go back to sleep with Saint. "We should gooo..."

Melody frowned. "Well, that was mean." She shrugged and started singing Rotten Heresy and Chocolate, loud enough for Mercucio to hear.
