Flint smiled at the question, chuckling quietly. "No. You don't. In fact, a lot of people don't know me." He leaned back in his chair, studying Aven. "You looked scared. Is death row really that scary?"

"Not normally. Most people live their whole lives waiting for the day," Aven answered, sitting hunched over, her eyes watching him even though her face was pointed downwards.
This was the reason the government was looking for them. Idiots like that explosives girl. He couldn't help but wonder if anyone would get out in time, as he watched from the building opposite, arms crossed. Policemen were joined by firefighters, EMTs, and news reporters. A crowd gathered, watching what happened while being held out of the way. He would never understand why people thought it was necessary to impede the flow just because something happened. If people were only more orderly, things like this would happen less, because no one goes through the effort when it doesn't even make a scene. Francis shook his head, and sat down on the ledge at the edge of the rooftop. Even from five stories up, he could see everything in perfect detail. He watched keenly, looking for anyone who might interest him. Anyone who wasn't normal.

"Is that so?" Flint brushed back his ginger locks, propping his chin up on his fist as he leaned his elbow on the counter. "Just how long have you been in there? How long have you been waiting for 'the day?'"

"A year, seven months, four days," Aven answered, quietly.

Flint raised an eyebrow, musing, "That's awfully...specific. More than a year and a half waiting to die." He stroked his chin, asking, "And for what? Why would they lock you up here for so long just to be executed?"

Allara smiled at that, her eyes twinkling... Ice. She always had liked ice, well, more or less the thin ice that shattered. It had made her happy really. Well, just destroying things made her happy. "Ice huh? Like, making it, or the type that if you touched my arm you could freeze it to the point of it breaking off?" she was joking. Well, kind of. It could still be a potential threat, but he seemed harmless enough. "Oh, and you have absolutely no idea how uplifting it is here. It beats jail or the streets. Free food that tastes good, comfy rooms...." She smiled thinking how true it was that it was comfortable here. Not like a home per-say, but still better than what she had put up with in her actual house. Oh well, she decided to avoid his question of why she was here. Standing up, she wiped her hands on her jeans, sighing. Well, might as well get this over with. "These are my powers." At that very instant, she disappeared from sight, then when she had reached a close enough distance, she knocked him back with a small forcefield. Then, she reappeared right in front of him. "It's mostly defense, but eh, I can make it offensive too." she let out a small laugh, and walked back towards her bed. "Oh, and I have one very strict rule for you to follow. Never, and I mean never touch my stuff, unless I tell you you can. If you can follow that, there's a very strong possibility we'll get along."

"My death takes paperwork, I suppose. Others have waited much longer than I have," Aven said.

"Paperwork." Flint shook his head, laughing at the word. "There's always paperwork. Still, people don't get jailed and killed in a controlled environment for no reason. The system only does this to criminals..." He cocked his head, asking in earnest, "Do you consider yourself a criminal?"

Aven shook her head. "There was a crime, but I'm innocent. I don't want to die for something I didn't do. I swear, I never touched them."

Flint raised an eyebrow, a mischievous look in his eye. "You claim innocence. And you would stand by that even until the moment they stuck the needle in your arm?"

"I am innocent. I will stand by it forever," Aven insisted. "But he is very good at framing..."

Flint beamed, his voice quiet as he said, "That's what I like to hear. What if I told you that I could not only get you out of here, but help you to clear your name?"

She sat on her hill enjoying the attention it brought. watching them all scurry the ants they are. "heh, i could go back and kill all of you.. but meh that would be a little risky wouldnt it" she giggled half jogging down the hill and just walked down the sidewalk and casually walks passed a boy that looks about her age with hair parted to the side and continues down the sidewalk walking away from the scene.
Walking up the sidewalk to where the light had come from as well as the emergency and law enforcement were headed, near the top he is approached by a girl but just seemingly walks straight passed him.... he pauses finding it odd but continues up to the site that everyone was gathered around. he sees the true destruction that was around there, wanting to get closer he figured hey... perfect chance to try out his new abilities to sneak passed the security to take a look inside. So he veered off to the right headed to the tree line to conceal him self from visual sight.
I can make it on my own but i much prefer to have a source to make it from as it would have to be water from my own body which would dehydrate me rather fast. But yes i could also shatter your arm through touch; when he gets knocked backwards and kind of stumbles and then she is in his face he jumps back slightly at that as well. I see they are rather interesting. "Oh i can assure you your stuff is of no interest of mine i have better things to be doing with my time. What kinds of testing do they do? Just take blood, have you left this place since you came here Allara?"

Francis watched the girl leave, passing a young man who seemed to be following the crowd until he headed for the trees. He narrowed his eyes and walked along the edge of the building, quickly taking the escape ladders to the ground and going to follow the kid.
