Mayblee did as instructed nervously and then sat down to do the quiz quickly, trying to make up for lost time. It didn't seem too hard.

"To the office, now Adam. That is inappropriate." Candace spoke sternly. Maybe it had been a mistake coming to this city to teach. It was always obvious that this would be a difficult transition, but people like this? Was it common for such behavior from childen? Children for christ sake, not even old enough to be allowed to think like that! But of course, not all were raised like her or any with the burden that had been put on her.

Adam shrugged. "Just being honest. Isn't that what we're supposed to do?" He laughed and walked down the hall that led towards the office... and, more relevantly, towards a set of doors to the parking lot.

Candace returned to her room and finished off the rest of her day with little problems. As soon as she finished the day she practically sprinted to the teachers parking lot and to her car. It wasn't the best mode of transportation, for everything about it was falling off, but it got her the short distance between school and work that she so desperately needed.

Kenny was sitting on the curb. He looked up when she left the building. "Hey, Ms. Harrison," he greeted. It looked like he'd been sitting there since school got out.

Candace turned around quickly when she hear her name. "Oh, hello Kenny!" He tone was happy to see it was the better of the brother. She was going to continue walking when something stopped her. She looked at the student and said "Your parents on their way to pick you up?"

"No. My brother left early. He'll probably be back in town later, though..." Kenny sighed. He clearly didn't have much faith in his twin.

Charity pulled her car, which she only used when she had to transport large things, into the school parking lot and got out to look for her sister, smiling.

Mayblee was walking towards home when she spotted Charity and her car. Oh, neat. She could get a ride.
