Mayblee shrank back when Candace yelled, shocked. She patiently waited for the teacher to let her in.

"Mayblee take the papers off the corner of my desk," Candace said, pointing to the only stack of quizzes on her desk. "Pass those out and begin, I don't want to hear anyone talking while I'm in the hallway," She then passed by her student and out the door, closing it behind her and looking at Adam. She paused for a moment and then spoke "What was that?"

Now with her nerves calming she did know that she had over reacted but it was too late to pull back now "You know exactly what Adam." She spoke calmly, letting out a breath. "You've been in school long enough to know back talk to a teacher isn't accepted along with insulting another student, no mater how elementary the term is."

Tucking her key necklace back into her shirt, Candace looked him right in the eyes and said "If your acting out because you're looking for the attention of an adult then you have it now. So what was it for, saying those things in class."

"Is it because you don't get a stimulating home environment. Adam, we do have counselor, and if you keep acting up, I will be requesting you have weekly meetings with one until we figure this out." Candace hope she'd get a reply to this, she couldn't have daily interruptions in her class.
