It wasn't that he disbelieved his brother, he just knew his weaknesses. It wasn't the same thing. Regardless, Kenny became increasingly paranoid the longer Adam was gone. After half an hour he'd resolved to go find him, however he'd run into his father. An hour later he fled the house and instinctively went to Roseanne's. His Quagsire emerged and waddled along behind him, trying to catch up to grab its trainer's leg.

When Kenny appeared at her door Roseanne peered through the peephole. After making sure it wasn't Adam, she opened her door with a big smile on her face. "Hey Superman," She greeted cheerfully, stepping side to let him in.

The time it had taken Roseanne to answer the door had allowed Quagsire to attach itself to Kenny's right leg, where it hung with apparent bliss. Kenny smiled and came inside. His left eye was already bruising, though that was all that was visible around his long-sleeved shirt and pants. "How are you? ... He hasn't bothered you, has he?"

'No, I haven't given him the chance." Roseanne told him truthfully. She was quite used to seeing Kenny walk in the door with fresh bruises by now, though it saddened her a little more every time he did so. "Here, let me get you some ice for that." She headed to the kitchen for ice.

[Raven]

Kenny raised his hand to his face. "It's not as bad as it looks," he said, as he usually did when it was worse than it looked. "He said he's changed..."

[Gifted]

"Be that as it may, you're still getting ice." It was her usual response. She made no comment on what Kenny said about Adam. she grabbed hi an ice pack and handed it over. "Here."

[Raven]

"He said he won't even go back to the gang,"Kenny told her as he gingerly touched the ice to his eye.

[Gifted]

"And you believe him, do you?" Roseanne asked without meeting his eyes.

[Raven]

"He's my brother,"Kenny answered

[Gifted]

Roseanne nodded. "I don't want to talk about Adam, okay?" Just saying his name burned in her mouth and she worried Kenny might have caught her wince.

"I understand, Roseanne. How have you been?"Kenny whispered

[Mismagius]

Link was walking around an old warehouse, the one he had chosen as his spot for today, as he waited for a client to come in. "God damnit, he's late." he grumbled, continuing his pacing. The damned healer shouldn't be left waiting, especially when he's the healer for not only the illegals, but the Devils Advocates as well. Already angered by the fact he was twenty minutes late, when the man strode in drunk he was downright pissed. "Hey, drunk boy! You the man I have pokemon to heal for?" Link watches as he places his pokeballs into Link's hands. Once that was done, he calls over to his Gallade. "We need to heal pulse these three, and the rest I've got." It took about a half an hour to heal the seven pokemon, because four of them were in pretty decent shape, and the other three were heal pulsed. "Good job, Aru." Then, returning them to their owner, he flatly says, "Because you've pissed me off, it's sixty dollars. Each." He then held out his hand, to which the man replied "That's unfair! I'm not paying that!" Sighing, Link looked to him. "You will pay it, or you won't ever see your pokemon again. And don't think I'm joking." After a few minutes of grumbling, he gave him the money. Once that man was gone, he looked at his Gallade. "Ah, that was fun" he said sarcastically, to which Gallade nodded.

Maria was listening to Ryan, when all of a sudden her sister shouted, which was very rare, making her look straight away towards Ivy. When she saw Kirlia, and then the aftermath of Kirlia's little prank, and she was angered by it. Looking towards Houndoom, she took her head off of his head, telling him to use fire blast.

Ivy knew it! Lia got hurt because she couldn't teach her manners! Distraught, as well as slightly angry, she ran as fast as she could towards Lia, Mismagius and Mienshao beside her, they scooped the hurt Kirlia up. When she saw Maria's Houndoom going to attack, she almost shouted for him to stop, but she didn't. Blocking out everyone else, she looked down towards her injured pokemon, and began to assess the damage.

Ryan looked stonily at Maria, and seemingly without moving he released his Lapras and his Arcanine. He didn't even speak to them, Arcanine turned on Sneasel and dragged her into the back room and Lapras faced Houndoom. "Get out if you can't behave," Ryan said flatly.

[Gifted]

"Pretty good. I made it on the honour roll this year." Roseanne said proudly. She'd gone to summer school two years in a row to make up for the devastation the six months with Adam had caused her school life. Her grades meant more to her now than they had even before him.


Justin had killed two pokemon and fainted four more already when he spotted an Electross hiding in the bushes. "Scrafty, Hi Jump Kick!" he ordered, pointing his favourite pokemon at the other.

[Raven]

"That's great. At least summer school paid off," Kenny said, with a smile.

Eelectross cried out in surprise, and expanded the range of its Discharge to include the Scrafty. Adam dashed from behind the tree, Gothorita behind him.
