An idea is coming to me, about a role play where certain people have to find a cure for Immortality. I'll say more when I'm not in school.

We all know the super heroes: Batman, the Invisible Woman, Spiderman, Captain America, Superman, and many others. What you don't hear about is the real people they're based on. People who seem so inhuman that they got made into super heroes. The only question now is are they inhuman?

They thought it was a mutated form of influenza yet again. It had many of the same symptoms: fever, aches, fatigue, lack of appetite, a cough, and stomach illness. In some cases it was even mistaken as the cold. For some patients that's all it was. Some died, some recovered. Strangely, no one spoke of the illness. Some didn't even seem to remember it at all, others seemed frightened by any sign of the ill or any word of the disease. It was strange, certainly, but not enough to classify it as a new illness. Then the bacteria found it's first match. Her house burned down, killing everyone inside. Except her. She was thought lucky until a witness saw her creating the flames with nothing but her hands, then they knew the truth. The Gifted Pandemic became something to fear. While the people from before the illness remain, the bacteria had a mind of its own. The gifteds almost always went after survivors of the contagion, the ones who had been able to rid themselves of the awful bacteria before it reached their brain...

Gifted brought something to my attention the other day: in almost every Gakupo song, he does something horrible that results in him losing the love of his life. I've realized there are a few other constants. Miku and Luka are always fighting over boys and Miku always has the intention to kill Luka. Len quite often gives his life for what he believes in (usually his sister). Kaito is quite often the 'master' even though he isn't Lust. And this got me thinking, what if we did a Vocaloid role play?

. . . Wake up.
For everyone who received that message, it was the first memory they had. It materialized in front of them on their white screen. It awakened them, and though it was the first message, it was not the last. They soon figured out that they in turn could write back, to ask this force questions. It was only with their mind, because the words and the white were the only thing they could see. They had no body and nothing to hold. It became the thing that they looked forward to, because the words were the only thing there in the white, besides their own thoughts. They had in-depth conversations about the world and what it was like. If it surprised any of them that they knew about the world, they didn't voice it. Given that line of thought and the amount of time they seemed to have to think, some of them might have wondered how strange it was that they knew language, and how to read, since they had no memory beyond the black and white. It went on this way for what could have been years... or maybe only a week. And then there came a message that changed them all.
. . .
I can show you color, life, the world
. . .
Just follow my instructions.

Everyone knows about the gifteds and the agents, but they didn't always. The first collections were simple. The government claimed that they would allow the gifteds better workplaces due to their extra talents. After being tested to see where they would be most useful, of course. That was the excuse for the labs. The first gifteds brought in could come from anywhere. These were the people who still had lives, and didn't know anything was going wrong. They went willingly, quietly, and without a fuss. Disappeared without a trace, no matter where they were from. Criminals and school teachers. Hardly anyone took notice, especially since there were people to cover for things like this.
Yet most of them were never allowed to leave. Those who were became agents in turn, though at that point it was a matter of persuasion. 'We had to share this with you. It's the best thing that ever happened to us.' The gifted agents were like preachers of hell, but they fooled many, sending them to live in the labs that were becoming more and more common. Then gifteds began to run, and the agents became hunters. But that first lab was still there, holding people who no longer believed that their lives had found a bit of luck.
