August continued to stay down and looked back up, her face was filled with fear but her glare rivaled that of her cousins, and this time it was aimed right at Jesse. She started to push herself off the floor but could get herself to about a sitting position by the time her leg started to remind her of the cut.

August just looked at her and spoke in the most calm voice she could though tears f pain her filing her eyes and you could hear it in her voice. "I-i heard you."

Tears started to fall but August just looked her in the eye and stood up. She didn't take well to being attacked but she didn't even know what they wanted, she'd probably be the girl that over reacted.
