Emilia made her way into the great hall. All the schedules followed behind her, separated by house. She took out her wand and amplified her voice. "May I have your attention please," he voice spread throughout the great hall, conversations stopping.

Tanner looked to Wesley and they both turned to pay attention to the teacher.

"Coming around to you are your schedules," Emilia said, sending the schedules to each house and each separating in to seven piles for each house. "They're organized from year one to year seven. You have fifteen minutes to get to class! Good luck!" With the Emilia walked to the front table to pick up her plate for breakfast before heading off for her class room.

"Oh." Tanner frowned. "I got to go, my schedule's probably over there..." he pointed to the Hufflepuff table. "Oh..." Wesley looked crestfallen. "All right. Later Tanner." Tanner got up and glumly left his brothers side to go find his timetable.

Ryan laughed and went to the third pile. His schedule was on the bottom, and he was one of the first ones out of the chaos around the piles.
His sisters were not so lucky, his half-brothers even less. Adam was lucky enough to be one of the first to the first year gryffindor pile, but he had quite a lot of sorting to do going through them.

Jesse was going through the seventh-yeah pile to find her schedule when the metal corners of her journal started to burn her skin. She stepped out of the chaos, not really caring enough to be on time for class anyway, and pulled out her journal and a quill. She scratched down a few notes and put it away, and began looking for a second or third year expendable Slytherin to bother.

At lunch, Kenny sat down beside Andrea.

Andrea couldn't believe her luck. The boy who'd spoken out at the Slytherin initiation was sitting next to her! Now she could see if he was really as sharp as he seemed. "Hello! It was Kenny, right?"

Nezzera sat at the Hufflepuff table, attending this meal to be there to answer any of the younger students questions. Instead of food surrounding her seat she was surrounded by books, most of which were covering basic offense and the proper technique needed.
After their actions from the previous night, August tried her best to stay away from Andrea and Kenny, desperately wanting to eat her first meal of the day in peace.

Lynn, arriving late after trying to go to the dorms before lunch, ended up next to August. It was either that or the head girl, and Lynn wasn't about to join them, even if she liked the girl.
"Yeah, and you're Andrea, right?" Kenny asked, smiling.

"That's right." Andrea grinned. "So how've you been, Kenny?"
Tanner went to the Hufflepuff table but found he had no idea where to sit. So it was with an awkward embarassment he sat down next to the Head Girl again.

"Other than history of magic?" Kenny grinned. "Pretty good. You?"

August looked up at the girl and gave a quick "Hello" before going back to her sandwich.
Nezzera looked at the boy who sat next to her for the second meal in a row. Sh put on a soft smile and said "Making any friends yet?"

"Yeah, History of Magic was ridiculous, wasn't it?" Andrea laughed. "I've been good."
Tanner smiled sheepishly. "No. My brother was always better at that stuff than me."

"I really hope the older students had more luck than us... I wouldn't want to put us in last for too long," Kenny said.
