She walked back in with a solemn look. "Hum.." She said taking her seat back thinking 'Are we friend yet? I hope so!'

The boys exchanged another glance, but said nothing, wishing the train ride would be over.

[Raven]

Evangeline snickered. "My mom had a cat named Nero before I was born, so that's how I got his name," she said, scratching behind the kitty's ears.

[Sar]

"You two don't have some weird, twin telepathy thing going on, do yah?" August asked with a serious look "Because you haven't talked since we were talking about Tito and Alba," She had kept the names memorized, trying to show that she cared.

Andrea nodded. She wished there was a way to get information, but she couldn't exactly leave the compartment.

"No," Wesley shook his head.
"I think we're almost there,"| Tanner sai, and, mercifully, the train began to slow down.

[Raven]

"Hey, you never said which house you'd want to be in," Evangeline looked at Andrea expectantly.

[Sar]

"Wait!" August said before they could make a move to leave. Her face was no longer in that dopey smile but instead filled with real worry. "Do you think... I mean are any of you two scared... you know.. of the sorting?" Her voice was calm and even toned, unlike how it had been the rest of the trip.

Andrea shrugged. "It doesn't make a big difference to me."

Tanner and Wesley wore identical looks of surprise at the question, and the change in attitude. "Not really..." Tanner said. "I mean, sure, it could end up putting us both in, oh I don't know, Hufflepuff or something. But really, in the end, we'll sill make great friends. I don't think what house you're in really affects all that much, more than what colours you wear and what Quittich team you cheer for."
"Aw, they'd never put me in Hufflepuff," Wesley said. "Slytherin I could see happening. I wouldn't like it, but I could see it happening."

[Sar]

August noticed their reply and how the tone of their voice changed 'Oh,' she thought. She then smiled a little and said "Thanks," she then joked "No matter what at least we still get food afterward,"

Tanner smiled and gave a small laugh. Wesley grinned, but didn't laugh. "Yeah, exactly," Tanner said.

[Raven]

Evangeline pouted. "Whatever." She stood and grabbed her things just as Ryan came back in and snagged his bag, his robes successfully changed from green lining to a deep maroon. "Sorry girls, I met a few friends who wondered how I'd managed to evade them earlier," he laughed and used a finger to pet his owlet before heading out to catch a carriage. "I'll see you if any of you get Gryffindor," he called back.
Evangeline quickly stuffed Nero back into his cage. "Let's get a boat together," she said.

For the first time she left home this morning August was calm. Mabe we;ll have a couple classes together," August said, hoping that she wouldn't be all alone the first week.

Nikki didn't answer, still feeling guilty she'd chatted so much.

"Maybe," Tanner said as the train stopped. "Come on, let's get outside." he said, heading out of the train, Wesley not far bhind.

"Nikki," Evangeline said, waving a hand in front of her face. "Come on, let's go get a boat."

Nikki nodded. "wait, boats...? Are we rowing there?"
