Nikki wandered down the corridor, looking left and right. How was anyone supposed to find their way through this maze? the classrooms weren't even labled!
At this rate, she'd never make it to her class in time!

Ryan saw her as he leaned against the wall on his way to transfiguration and couldn't help but laugh. She was only the eighth lost first year he'd seen today, but it cracked him up every time. "Maybe you should try asking for directions," he called after her, as the time for her to find her class was running short.

Nikki blushed. "Well I...well... I didn't want to...bother anyone," She stammered shyly, looking up at the older student. "Could... could you tell me where the Charms room is please?"

"Second floor, if you come up the grand staircase you turn right and keep walking until you see an ugly statue and then you turn right again and keep going until you're in class," Ryan answered, grinning. "And believe me, it's little bother to give directions, but it's much more of a bother for your house especially if you lose them points by being late. So I guarantee you, if you ask an older Ravenclaw, they'll help without a second thought." Though Ryan refused to help his little sister - mostly because he didn't want Slytherin winning the house cup - he was more than willing to help just about any other first-year.

Nikki smiled. "Thanks," She ran off in the direction Ryan had told her too.
