Lynn glared at Riley, then leaped back over to August, simply wrapping her arms around the other girl in an attempt to shield her further.

"Diffendo!" she aimed at Lynns face, not caring if she hit August too. "Riley! Control your charge!"

Riley raised her wand and thought 'Levicorpus!' She lifted Lynn's body to the air and August dropped to the ground. "Diffendo!" She said, lashing out again at Lynn again, making a cut go right across her chest, keeping her hanging upside down. "I'm sorry Stouse,"
"NO!" August said loudly, already being this deep in she wasn't going to turn back. She tried to get up to help Lynn but anther cut across her leg made it difficult to get up. "NO!" August yelled "NO!"

Tears rolled down Lynn's face into her hair. "Why are you so mean?!" she cried. "I'm your cousin, Riley!" Her hair turned a dark grey, her eyes becoming blue.
Owen watched in horror and sadness, he wanted to help the girls, but he didn't know how...
Jeremiah watched, amused.

"Ugh, the one year I actually get to run the thing, I'm stuck dealing with a rebellious little brat," She slashed her wand through the air, and bright purple flames erupted on August. They vanished after a second and left no visible marks, but -as Jesse had good cause to know- they were extremley painful. "Swear loyalty!"

Jesse sighed. "Ryan, go get Essence of Dittany," she snapped at one of the second years, who ran off at once. Then, she crouched down next to August. "Listen, kid," She said in a surprisingly gentle voice. "You're going to swear loyalty now or later, but it will happen. And I'd advise you to do it now, because otherwise I'll have no choice to subject you to the bloody and very painful Sectumsempra curse. Now, Essence of Dittany will heal the wounds before it kills you, but it's bloody and painful and I'm sure you don't want to go through that."

August looked at her, every part of her shaking. "...no..." She whispered, trying to control her body from shaking. She knew this was the right thing, some how. Her father had always said the easiest way isn't always the right way. He was the person she looked up to. Her Gryffindor father that taught her so many life lessons. She looked at the head girl and said "It just isn't right.."

Owen looked at Jeremy, then spoke, "You should just agree, August. It's only putting us all through more pain. Especially that poor girl hanging from her leg above you. In that position, she'll bleed to death. pretty quick with those cuts."
Lynn had blood running into her hair.
Jeremiah wasn't sure if he should punish the first year for trying to convince August to agree.

Jesse shook her head. "So be it." she glared at her. She'd honestly been trying to help the poor kid, since during her own torture she's been lucky enough to pass out before Sectumsempra was preformed. "Ryan, you got the damn Dittany yet?"
"Here!" Ryan ran up and gave Jesse the bottle.
"Thanks. Say don't you have a charge?"
"No ma'am"
"Sucks to be you. Oh well," she turned and aimed carefully at August, and said the incantation quietly. "Sectumsempra,"
Andrea couldn't help it. She gasped. The huge slashes that appeared in Augusts body were spewing copoious amounts of blood everywhere. It looked like CSI. 90210. Lie To Me. It wasn't real. How could a little bottle of who-knows-what save her from that?

Beatrice felt bad for the girl. She'd agreed without any argument, so she had no idea what it was like. She made a small cut on Andrea's cheek. "Hush," she hissed.

Being cut jolted Andrea back to her senses. She was supposed to be following orders. She pressed her lips tightly together and made no sound.

August clenched her mouth shut and tried not to scream. It worked for the first few second but after that she began crying like a baby. She began to feel light headed and her vision blurred. Her cries of pain turned into whispers and then they stopped all together, her body no longer twitching in pain.
