The second one was rotating in the other direction, and rotating faster. If Larks timing was off he'd slip and fall.
From here he could see this way was a dead end, however there was what looked like two p38 pistols sitting on the ground at the end of the room.

"Huh, risk my life for pistols?" he asks aloud.
Truly takes off in flight over to the opposite side off the room. Carefully looking to each log as it passes to gauge difficulty. It lands and hops over to the weapons to test their weight.
Lark keeps focused and keeps balance waiting on the first log.

She runs at him again, this time though her aims to run around to behind him.

Truly squawks over to Lark. He nods and carefully turns around to head back. He does his best to keep balanced. Truly grabs one of the pistols by its ring and attempts to fly it back over.

Truly managed to get back with the weapon.
"Good job Truly." Lark praised.
Truly, though out of breath, was prepared to return for the other gun. Lark stops it.
"One is enough. Plus we're carrying a lot as is."
Truly fans its crest in grateful agreement. Lark checks how many bullets the gun contains. Then leaves the room to go to the other the sign directed.

Malice dodged to the left, but only managed to redirect the star to strike her upper front leg. She yips and jumps back in response. She then turns tail and runs behind a pile of shapes to hide in. From behind the pile she shifts into a small cobra, then slithers under one of the loose shapes.

Zach grimaced. He went to a pile she'd not entered and grabbed a pyramid, placing it on the lighter of the scales.

The pistol contained one full clip, that is to say 8 rounds on ammunition.
Room 1-3 contains mostly grassy hills, of varrying size and shape. Theres is a meadow at the lowest point and at the top of most of the hills are low brick walls, with places to mount machine guns in them but no actual guns. The door is at the opposite end of the valley.
"How about that guy?" Ruby said, pointing to the blue dot.
"He's moving to room 1-3. Let's get there before he does,"
"Right," Ruby giggled -old habit, Joan had gotten used to it- and skipped to the pod labled for room 1-3. She teleported and landed in the middle of the meadow. Joan did the same.
"Alright," Joan said, looking around. "Our first priority is to find the weapons. If theres more than two we bring the extras back for the other agents to use. Don't want gifteds getting their hands on them.
"Hey, what's that up there?" Ruby pointed to the tallest hill. It didn't have a wall on it, so anyone up there would be painfully exposed. But there were some small objects on top that they couldn't see all that clearly.
"Betcha those're them." Joan said.
"Should we risk exposing ourselves?"
"Dude. Telekinesis. I'll blast anyone who gets close."
"And if they've got a sniper?"
That thought stopped Joan cold. What if someone had a sniper? They'd be easy pickings on that hill. But they needed to get those weapons.
"I'll go. You stay down here. Make friends with anyone who shows up tilll I come down, then we'll destroy them,"
Ruby nodded. "Good plan to me!" She sat down among the flowers and Joan began to climb.

Placing the pyramid on the scale was correct, it balanced itself and the locked door swung open.

Lark looked around the environment.
"I swear, if Mario or some magic mushroom pops up...."
Truly chirps and looks to him. He nods in response. Getting the okay, Truly takes off in flight to survey the area. For now Lark stays where he is and takes his violin from its strap. For the moment he doesn't play it.
Malice remains hidden for only a moment more. It comes out only to find the door shut. It looks for a gap under the door.
