Jared hadn't noticed her, but when Ryan pointed her out, he grinned. "You have an eye for the ladies, my friend," he said, watching her. she seemed to be coming this way, so for now he didn't move, just poured another drink and drank from his own, ready for her.

Emily passed Jared as if she hadn't even realized he was there. She wanted to know if he would make the move first, or if she wasn't worth it.
Violet grinned, the party mood was infectious. "What shall we do first, Zoey-la?"

Emily glanced at him and accepted the drink. "Thanks," she said calmly. She smiled, but it wasn't big.
Violet smiled, and nodded. She was fairly well known as a dancer, and she tended to get down, especially when there was a cute guy nearby.
