....Twenty-Seven Days Later....

[Dokeshi]

The soldier looks at the paper and cautiously reaches down to pick it up, aiming his pistol at the man who threw it before speaking,"I'm here on business, making sure our leader Monotoxin didn't leave any undead lying around, that smart one he captured really drained his energy."

[Sparrow]

Vincent tilts his head at the soldier’s comment. Then quickly write a response and tosses it over to him.
It reads:
“A smart zombie? By any chance was it dressed as a mail man?”

[Dokeshi]

"Um yea that was the description I was given, why do you ask?" The soldier stays crouched but reaches for the knife strapped to the back of his belt.

[Sparrow]

Vincent literally facepalms before writing his next response and tossing it over.
It reads:
“It seems you’ve captured my brother.”
A line under it reads.
“He’s always been one to get in trouble and cause chaos. Even when he was ‘alive’.”

[Dokeshi]

Blinking the solider you looked up and spoke," Are you like him...I mean...dead but not?"

[Sparrow]

Vincent pauses for a moment of thought then finds it best to write a response. He hesitates for a moment considering a rewrite then tosses the paper to him.
It reads:
“In that 'aspect' yes. In his ‘kill off the world’ personality no.”

[Dokeshi]

"excuse me but...nonetheless could I ask you to come with me?" The soldier replied slowly.

[Sparrow]

Vincent ponders a reply for a moment, then writes out a long reply, peering up at the soldier every so often to ensure he didn’t ambush him. After writing he tosses him the note.
It reads:
“That depends, what will happen if I go? More importantly, what are you going to do with my brother? Since it sound like he didn’t want to go along, he may be a psychotic nut and all but he’s not stupid, it would seem he was forced aka captured for whatever reason. So don’t lie to me when you answer these.”

The cat flicks its tail back and forth and watches the soldier. It crawls to get a view of the man to see what he was reaching for. Spotting the knife the cats grumbles a low angry tone.

Hearing the cat Vincent glares at the man, though it's hidden by his sunglasses.

[Dokeshi]

"Who knows what those eggheads do I just listen to mister Monotoxin's orders guy"

[Sparrow]

Vincent write out a reply soon after hearing that then tosses it over.
It reads:
“Considering the fact there are ‘eggheads’, by which I assume you mean scientists, I’m going to have to say no.”

[Dokeshi]

After reading the paper the soldier threw his knife at him and shot a round at his leg from his pistol," I'm afraid that's the wrong answer."

[Sparrow]

Vincent jumps up to dodge but is grazed by the bullet on his left leg, he manages to catch the knife by its handle on his landing. He tosses the knife in the air and as it falls in front of him it suddenly stops mid-air then flies at the door frame next to the man, the man not being the intended target.
The cat runs out from under the bed with an angry hiss and latches onto the soldier’s gun wielding hand biting down hard.

[Dokeshi]

With a scream the man swings his arm towards his knife with the cat latched onto him.

[Sparrow]

The cat holds fast and digs its claws into the man’s arm. The knife nicks the cat’s tail ever so slightly and sticks deep into the door frame.
Vincent watches the soldier cautiously, mainly for the safety of the cat.

[Dokeshi]

The man began flailing his hand more, bashing it into anything he could reach.
